Brief Introduction:
Who exactly is Peter M. Brown, and why should anyone care?
Peter Brown is known as one of the most contentious crackpots on the
sci.physics hierarchy.
Brown has a long history of causing arguments and fights with nearly every
physicist on those news groups, as well as starting fights in other physics
forums on the internet.
Were it only Brown's proclivity for argument and fighting, not many people
would care. However, Brown has shown a willingness to take his fights
outside of Usenet to involve the various employers and colleagues of those
he argues with. He has attempted on several occasions to have his
"opponents" fired from their jobs, or removed from their places of study.
There are many reasons for Brown's actions, and thus this posting is meant
to provide information regarding Brown's actions and history. Perhaps this
will lead the reader to understand Brown's unique mental state and possibly
avoid confrontations with him.

Peter Brown's Use of Killfiles:
Brown has an unusual take on what a killfile is. He will quite often claim
that he is killfiling a person, then afterwards continues to post responses
to that person.
Some times he even posts such responses as:
"Now you see why I killfiled you."
"I never respond to you because I killfiled you."
"I never even see your posts because I have you in my killfile!"
"I use the killfile so that I never see anything you post"

Peter Brown has attempted suicide at least twice. However, most likely these
attempts were pleas for help rather than real attempts at taking his own
life. They were also most likely a way for Peter Brown to gain sympathy
from others.
