You seem to make a habit of it.

Many Chinese people believe Dr. Cui Silong, Leifei Institute of New
Energy, is stunning the world to with his new physics theory
Analytical Space-Time, which helps develop most powerful
electromagnetic technics. The new theory fundamentally unified general
relativity and quantum mechanics seamlessly with principle of a string
and deflection of space-time. Professor Chuanjian commented it in a
special physics review: Now that the new theory has allowed us to see
the aureole of God through the general effect of deflection or
rotation of space-time, would it lead us to see the true face of God
or comprehend the mind of God?

You can refer to the new theory at: http://www.tastphysics.com

I cannot get into the first url and the second is a load of
codswallop.
The bloke seems to think that time is just another component in a
Euclidian space
He also seems to think that the product of a displacement and a time
lapse is an invariant.
I have no idea of what the subject of his Ph.D. might be, but I don't
think it could have been physics.

Franz--"Thanks for telling us.
Did they serve tea and biscuits in the interval?"
Nope, coffee and cookies were served before the talk.

Many popes, but never enough Galileo's.

Title: re:China threat 18 Feb 2005 09:33:47 AM
I recently attended a talk presented by Daniel Schrag, Department of
Earth and Planetary Sciences, Harvard University—“Climate Change on
Earth and Her Neighbors”. It is thought, based on what evidence
there is, that Venus may have once had surface water before its CO2
cycle got out of balance. What remains now at the surface is 90 bars
of CO2 at 460*F. Mars has polar and subsurface H2O, and it also most
probably once had liquid surface water, before its CO2 cycle shifted.

The evidence suggests that human-induced changes in the CO2 cycle on
Earth are having a pronounced effect on global warming. In general,
short-term local weather variations are not an accurate bench-mark
for judging global warming, however, the weather in the equatorial
troposphere is relatively constant, so the dramatic recession of the
glaciers on Mt. Kilimanjaro in Kenya and the Queleca ya Ice Cap in
Peru paint a poignant picture of what’s going on.
According to the speaker, to maintain the balance of the CO2 cycle and
deter global warming, the concentration of atmospheric CO2 should not
exceed 550 ppm. It doesn’t seem as if ‘carbon sequestration’ will be
a particularly effective initiative because it is costly, and because
a large percentage of the emission sources are mobile.

China is undergoing an industrial revolution. They have the
technology, a favorable political structure, some of the natural
resources, a tremendous labor force, and a skyrocketing amount of
investment capital. China also has a mother lode of coal, which they
will use, to fuel the industrial juggernaut. If that happens, the
atmospheric concentration of CO2 could triple or quadruple.
According to the speaker, if that happens, the icecap on Greenland is
doomed in relatively short order.
What reasonable/realistic things can be done to curtail the China
global warming threat?

When it comes to global warming, the consumer is the culprit? Supply
and demand, goodby Greenland?
