clarification needed (conical pendulum) |
Hi, I'm having trouble understanding the period of a pendulum. My
teacher doesn't take the time to explain simple equations like this -
how does this equation give the period of a pendulum?

Conical Pendulum

Conical pendulums are similar to simple pendulums; however,
instead of rocking back and forth, a conical pendulum moves at
a constant speed in a circle with the string tracing out a cone.
