Clausius and Einstein: Terminators of Theoretical Science |
Thermodynamics and relativity developed in essentially the same way: a
false premise ("Heat is an indestructible substance" or the principle
of constancy of the speed of light) gives birth to breathtaking
miracles and converts the respective science into a zombie cult. Then
the respective deity (Clausius or Einstein) gracefully abandons the
false premise; in the zombie world the procedure is regarded as just
another achievement of the divine science. See more in
