Here's a hint, git: Equilibrium thermodynamics only works for
*closed* systems near equilibrium. If you want to dance with the Devil
under pale moonlight you need Nobel Laureate Ilya Progogine - about
whom you are remarkably totally silent. Equilibrium thermodynamics
and statistical mechanics have little to say about each member of an
ensemble. They each and both require aggregation to smooth noise.
