Ediacara University, where half-wits are turned into dim-wits
virtually overnight, has announced that it also will erect a monument
to the Smithsonian pseudoscientist who died in a bizarre accident
recently.

The fictional university, whose only purpose is to perpetuate
the erroneous theory of man's origin and gang up on those
with better common sense like Intelligent Design, will erect a statue
of its own in front of its administration building by the end of the
year.

The administration and faculty will do so in memory of Chris
Krolczyk who suffocated when unable to remove his head from his
rectum, apparently because he mistook a tube of Crazy Glue
for a tube of Vasoline.

Krolczyk had been frustrated -- as all evolutionists are -- in his
inability to find physical evidence of man's evolutionary origin and
figured the only place no one ever looked was up their own rear end.

Edicara University boasts an enrollment of some 47,000, about
42,350 of them regular contributors to the talk.origins newsgroup
-- known affectionately as howlers -- who have made a total mockery
out of science by operating like second-graders during recess.

Ediacara, where talk.origins moderator David Iain Greig graduated
magna ***** laude, is hopeful the monument will be something like
the one that Congress appropriated $17.3 million1to erect in bronze in
front of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural
History.

Edicara officials, however, have indicated they'd prefer that the
head-in-the-rectrum view be targeted more toward the administrative
offices so they have a better view of the tunnel Krolczyk went
through.
