electroscope |
We know electroscope is used to detect charges. But why when I move a
battery close to the electroscope, the leaf did not repulse each other. I
thought there are net charges on the terminals of the battery. Thanks for
the reply

Voltage is too low (you probably have 9 volt or less), you need about 50 to
100 volts.
