A close business relationship had grown up between the cotton-growing
aristocracy of the southern states and cotton manufacturing England, and the
southern states were swarming with British agents. Soon a great conspiracy
arose among southern politicians, which erupted with the secession of South
Carolina from the Union on December 20, 1860, followed by six more states in
about one month. The conspirators raised armies and seized forts, arsenals,

It was in this situation that the Republican dark-horse candidate Abraham
Lincoln, victor in a four-cornered slave and anti-slave race for the
Presidency, came into office on March 4,1861. There had been a lot of
bloodshed before Lincoln was inaugurated, but it is part of the American
Fable that the first shot of the Civil War was fired at Fort Sumter on April
12, 1861.
In December, 1861, a large British, French and Spanish expeditionary force
was landed at Vera Cruz in defiance of the Monroe Doctrine. This, together
with direct British aid to the Confederacy, and the fact that the
Confederate army was far better trained and armed than the Federal forces
at the outset of the war, brought the fortunes of the North to a very low
ebb; and every indication at this stage was that Britain was preparing to
enter the war. [[90]] In this extremity, President Lincoln appealed to
Britian's perennial enemy Russia for aid. When the document with fhlt urgent
appeal was given to Alexander II, he weighed it unopened in hit hand and
stated: "Before we open this paper or know its contents, we grant any
request it may contain. On the day on which your President was inaugurated,
we, Alexander II of Russia, signed the protocol which liberated twenty-three
million serfs. Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, has freed
four million slaves. Therefore, whatever he asks of Russia, Russia will
grant, for Alexander II will not be a factor in the enslavement of any man."
Unannounced, a Russian fleet under Admiral Lisiviski steamed into New York
harbor on September 24, 1863, and anchored there; while the Russian Pacific
fleet under Admiral Popov arrived at San Francisco on Oct. 12th. Of this
Russian action, Gideon Wells said: "They arrived at the high tide of the
Confederacy and the low tide of the North, causing England and France to
hesitate long enough to turn the tide for the North."

My roommate ( a 19 year old woman ) used to compete in gymnastics.
Being small is everything to her... she panics when she gains weight.
She literally makes herself sick ( via meth injections ), nigh unto
death,
so that she might lose weight ( her blood infection may soon kill her ).
Ironically, although being small and cute is her goal,
meth is hagging her out like greased lighting... she's aging fast.
She sleeps all balled up in the corner of my tiny closet,
you might miss her if you didn't know what to look for... she's that
small.
Total stangers give her hundreds of dollars in cash or gifts anytime she
askes.
Men hound her with wild abandon... getting themselves killed and jailed.
Her current stalker recently told me he once shot people for making
noise.
He's killed a lot of people, by all accounts... and he might kill her or
me.
Yet it's only me that she keeps coming back to.
She tells me that no one knows her like I do, no one has been a better
friend.
Yet she won't touch me, even as she macs on man after man,
making me feel more than a little put off.
It's not my age ( 46 ) that dissuades her... she dates guys older than
that.
No, she wants to have a ton of kids, thinking that that would be
the only thing that could save her from her suicidal ways.
She knows that I owe child support for a boy born in 1983 at Provo
Utah
and a girl born the next year at the same place.
She knows that my ex left me after I refused to have more kids.
And, last but not least, she knows that I have a vastectomy and
no desire to have more kids.
As darling as she is, despite all her lively, intelligent banter,
and her stylish, tempting, suggestive clothes ( and lack thereof ).
...I'd rather that she left so I could concentrate on my work.
Working is dignified, lusting after someone you can't have is just
torment.
Nothing was ever truly random... the cosmos just is... static and
immutable.
All change is naught but virtual.
Life is the eternal consumption of Gibbs_Free_Energy;
it's not special to liquid water, just as the earth is not special to the
sun.
The laws of thermodynamics and its refinement, Quantum Mechanics,
are cosmic, eternal... infinite in extent.

Life is rough, Jeff, but don't give up. We have all made mistakes. Don't get
too caught up with women, most of whom are unstable and will destroy you,
not necessarily with deliberate intent. Love the Father and the Son instead,
and Their message of salvation, even the whole truth. Carry on in the truth
of Jesus Christ, whose Gospel is the only thing that can save you from the
ultimate evil to come, in our lifetime. Pray to your Father in heaven for
understanding to be granted you, in the name of Messiah. I testify to you
that Adam the Ancient of Days is the Father of our spirits, that Jesus of
Nazareth is the Christ, even the Only Begotten, that Joseph Smith, Jun. is
the Seer, that Art Bulla is the One Mighty and Strong. Amen. What more can I
say? Only the power of the Holy Ghost can fully convince a person. A person
lives by his faith because of the companionship of the Holy Ghost.
Otherwise, it is false faith. I can only provide the evidences, so that you
and others, of your own free will, may partake of the waters of life freely,
yea and the Lord's promise of translation from this world of death is unto
them of this generation that will receive the Gospel ordinances through the
Prophet and Apostle Art Bulla and endure to the end.

Hi Jong_Kim, I have no idea who Art Bulla is, but I'm quite sure that
he could no more extend your lifespan then he could extend your height.
Consuming less ( e.g. less food, drugs, water, air, etc. )
is the only way you could live a bit longer... not much of a choice, eh ?
Of course, all choices, all changes are purely virtual;
as true randomness couldn't possibly exist.

time by men, which teachings are an abomination in my sight, saith the Lord,
in the which the whole world hath been deceived by that anti-Christ, as it
was prophesied that he should come by my servant John known as the
Revelator, saith the Lord, even Freud, as he is known among men, and Jung
and them who follow after them, who be anti-Christs, who teach that there is
no Christ:
2 Behold thus saith the Lord, they, even they are even now being destroyed
in that hell spoken of, for I the Lord God will not be mocked, who it is
that shall shake the earth, yea even by the power contained in my voice,
that it shall reel to and fro as a drunken man.
3 For behold I am he who shall come in that day with the clouds of heaven,
saith the Lord, with my holy angels, who are now with me preparing for
battle in that day with the sons of men and their armies and their weapons
which are ineffective for their deliverance from even one of my little ones,
who are Sons of God after mine Holy Order.
4 And Man of Holiness is the name of my Father and we are one, and we shall
not be mocked any more in that day which shall burn as an oven in the which
more than twelve legions of my little ones shall reap down the earth as
recorded by my servant Malachi, which shall burn even as an oven, for we
that come shall burn them up, saith the Lord God of Hosts.
5 And that evil which we have purposed in our hearts, shall it not come to
pass in that day?
6 For vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, and I, even I, shall repay in that
day.
7 For it was that I caused that anti-Christ Korihor, to be slain, who was a
type in this things, saith the Lord, who also taught men in this manner (a),
as I, the Lord God did cause it to be written in the Book, translated by my
servant Joseph, as a testimony unto this nation, even the gentiles, and a
warning even in these things, that they might not be deceived as them of
old.
8 And it was also, saith the Lord, that these things were also taught among
them before the flood which caused my wrath to be kindled against the
inhabitants of the whole earth.
9 And thus it is that as in the days of Noah, so are they even now, which is
the day of the coming of the Son of Man with the clouds of heaven, in this
day, saith the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
10 For it was that this anti-Christ, was he not detected in that day by my
servant Alma even as Freud hath he not also been detected in this day
through the medium of mine appointment, even my servant Art Bulla?
11 And this by the revelations which I the Lord God have given him.
12 And is not this medium in the power and might and wisdom thereof more
intelligent than all the earth which combined against mine anointed in these
things, in all ages of the world, even against Melchizedec who is of old and
who is one of the Ancients, saith the Lord?
13 For they, even mine anointed are mighty, saith the Lord, and nothing can
I the Lord withhold from them and they are now with me in the might of my
power which stoppeth the utterance of the tongue for the glory thereof.
14 And they associate one with another, and know even as they are known, and
see, even as they are seen, in the might of my glory.
15 And there the wicked shall not have place, for shall they pollute the
inheritance of mine anointed with their lies and their priestcrafts, saith
the Lord?
16 For Nehor (b), wast he not also a type of thy priests and preachers,
O man, and has he not also been detected through the medium of mine
appointment, as in times of old, saith the Lord?
17 For the whole world hath it not been deceived by false science and false
religion, that the whole world shall perish because of unbelief concerning
the right path which leadeth unto the Eternal Lives, yea back into my
presence, saith the Lord?
18 Even so, judge ye, saith the Lord, and ye shall see, even in this day,
when mine terrible ones come, who hath power, saith the Lord.
19 For one of these, my little ones, have they not power to defeat without
loss of stride, thy armies, O man, in the might of my power which I have
given unto them?
20 For they effortlessly move and dart and stand and speak as with thunder,
and great glory and light and intelligence and honor, and holiness unto the
Lord, and with this irresistible might and power so that the ground, doth it
not open up and move, for all things are theirs, and they understand and
know all things, and they are Gods, ordained from before the foundation of
the world after the Order of the Holy One of Israel, as my warriors, even
the Sons of God, saith the Lord?
21 And they are mighty such as the world hath not seen, yea the glory of my
legions and the devils and the hosts of hell tremble at their name, even
Peter and James and John, Joseph, and Brigham Young, and many others, for
they the devils know, O man, and they tremble as should ye, but for thy
ignorance and slow stupidity and sloth in the flesh.
22 Yea their bodies, they are filled with brilliant white light, all power
and discretion is theirs yea, my little terrible ones, for all things are
theirs and they fear nothing and their virility and valiance and mastery of
the elements maketh the earth to reel to and fro as a drunken man, for
nothing resisteth them.
23 And it is, saith the Lord, that they shall shout a magnificent shout,
Holiness to the Lord of Hosts, for glorious is His Holy Name.
24 And they, even my mighty ones, my warriors who be male, for no females
shall be among them, saith the Lord, cannot look upon sin with the least
degree of allowance, and thy wickedness, O man, is it not abhorrent unto
them, that they cauterize with glorious and zealous vengeance, even the
earth upon which thou standest?
25 For this has been done also upon other worlds formed in the might of my
power, saith the Lord, even Eloheim, that death and hell and the wicked
shall be defeated forever as with a resounding clap of thunder, that shall
resound throughout eternity in the victory thereof?
26 For it is, saith the Lord, that the war fought against evil in the
heavens, before the foundation of the world, in the which Lucifer and his
hosts were cast out, shall be re-fought upon thy earth O man, when it is
that my legions who make ready to come at thee, O earth and hell, and are
loosed by me, the Father of Heaven and earth.
27 And Lucifer shall be bound for a thousand years, that the earth be made
free from the shackles of wickedness and darkness and unbelief which bindeth
it even now, that my intelligence, is free to expand in the light of truth
which knoweth all things, saith the Lord.
28 And the meek shall inherit the earth.
29 And thus they have pattern in these things.
30 And do they weep in thy death, O man?
31 I say unto thee, nay, but they do rejoice in their victory, and triumph,
for they be warriors, and they were persecuted while in the flesh and were
as sheep dumb before the shearers, whose mouths were shut by thy ignorance
and wickedness, that their spirits were grieved almost unto death, and their
hearts within them were continually heavy within them for beholding thy
wickedness, and sloth and unbelief, O man, even as I, the greatest and
mightiest of all, even Jesus of Nazareth, and this upon the earth by them
who called themselves righteous, as the Pharisees, even as ye, O man.
32 And thus vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, and I will repay in that day,
saith the Lord.
33 For I, even I, am a God of battles (c), and love the hate and the fury of
the battle, saith the Lord God of Enoch, and blood shall run to the bridles
of the horses and shall flow even as a river in this day, saith the Lord.
34 And it was that I, the Lord God, did cause it to be written concerning
Korihor, that the Gentiles may turn away from their false teachers, even
Mead, and anthropologists, biologists, sociologists, and all who pervert
the right way of the Lord of hosts, and who mock and point and scourge and
crucify mine Only Begotten anew and put Him unto an open shame anew, even in
this generation, saith the Lord, for do they not teach that I am not, O man?
35 And it is when I the Lord God speak, even unto a prophet, even as in
times of old, do they not even now call him deluded, O man?
36 And did not mine Only Begotten also have to restrain his feelings many
times, until the zeal for mine House (d) had eaten him up, that he overthrew
their tables in the Temple, O man?
37 And this he did do, even restrain his feelings for the safety of Himself
and his followers who were with Him, saith the Lord.
38 And was this not because of the wickedness of the children of men as now,
which provokes them to rebellion and murder, saith the Lord.
39 For are ye, O man and O woman in thy wickedness before me, saith the
Lord, any different than they which crucified mine Only Begotten Son, O man?
40 And thus it is that they, even they shall not escape my wrath even as
Korihor, for did he not deny the Holy Ghost which giveth utterance, O man?

42 Therefore I, the Lord thy God command thee, O man, through the medium of
mine anointed to turn away, O man, from these false teachers (f), who are
suffering the second death, for in mine anger against them, they shall die,

43 And which of your institutions are not built upon these things?
44 Therefore it is because of these lies, saith the Lord, your institutions
are being destroyed, even at this time.
45 And still ye will not turn unto me, and ye must perish.
46 For thine institutions, yea thy religion and thy science, yea of Babylon,
shall fall, even as thy nation, and as them of other nations which inhabited
the land before thee, O Gentiles, have done.
47 For did they not also cover the land with the numerous inhabitants

48 Therefore why is it, O man, that ye think ye are unique?
49 For the wicked, have they not been the very same, in their haughtiness
and pride before me, in all ages of the world?
50 And has not Satan had practice upon societies before thee, greater in
power than thine, O man?
51 Yea, was not evolution and racial mixing preached by them before the
flood, and what did it avail them?
52 And have not others, also been destroyed, both body and soul in hell, as
prophesied by mine anointed, who were grieved almost unto death for thy
perversity and wickedness and indifference and unbelief, O man?
53 And did not mine Only Begotten Son, say, FEAR NOT HIM, WHO
WHEN HE HATH KILLED THE BODY, THAT IS ALL THAT HE CAN DO,

56 And if it so be that ye will not do these things, ye must perish with
thine institutions, in the which they shall fall with thy society, O man,
and O woman, who lift up thy head in rebellion against me, even at this

57 And thus it is that all perish who fight against the Lamb of God.

by mine anointed servant who now standeth among you and ye know him not, or

59 And these anti-Christs, have they not filled the earth with their
writings and publishings, which have turned you, my children in the flesh,
from a saving knowledge of that One who had been sent unto you, shall they
escape my fierce visage which shall smite them as the hoarfrost is smitten
before the fierceness of the rays of the sun?
60 For they shall be brought to stand before me, and they, even they, shall
bow the knee and confess, even as my servant Alma did cause Korihor to do in
that day, saith the Lord.
61 And ye, O man that believest their publishings, Are ye guiltless before
me, saith the Lord?
62 I say unto thee, O man, nay, for are ye not all anti-Christ in these
things?
63 And thus them who adhere in their beliefs to that dogma, or system of
beliefs known among men as that which is liberal, thy blood shall atone also
for thy guilt in that day in which my legions, shall come.
64 For ye shall be saved from the second death, which is the death of thy
spirit, only by the shedding of thy blood to atone for thy guilt before me,
saith the Lord.
65 And this hath been a law among the Sons of God from before the foundation
of the world.
66 And it is that mine angels, do they therefore not delight in the shedding
of thy blood, O man, and because of this law, are they not justified before
me, the greatest and mightiest of all, even the Most High God, who it is, O
man, that speakest unto thee as in times of old through the medium of mine

67 Ye shall not escape my wrath, which is terrible, for thy provocation
against me, saith the Lord, as before the flood, have ye provoked me, and ye
shall not escape my wrath in this world nor in the world to come, O man, who

68 For ye, even ye, are loathed by them who be my warriors (h), my little
ones, and it is by my mercy and longsuffering toward them in the flesh, that

Oriental Pedagogy
The ideal of a leveling Oriental pedagogy expressed through government
schooling was promoted by Jacobin orators of the French National Convention
in the early 1790s, the commencement years of our own republic. The notion
of forced schooling was irresistible to French radicals, an enthusiasm whose
foundation had been laid in preceding centuries by utopian writers like
Harrington (Oceania), More (Utopia), Bacon (New Atlantis), Campanella (City
of the Sun), and in other speculative fantasy embracing the fate of
children. Cultivating a collective social organism was considered the
ingredient missing from feudal society, an ingredient which would allow the
West the harmony and stability of the East.
Utopian schooling is never about learning in the traditional sense; it's
about the transformation of human nature. The core of the difference between
Occident and Orient lies in the power relationship between privileged and
ordinary, and in respective outlooks on human nature. In the West, a
metaphorical table is spread by society; the student decides how much to
eat; in the East, the teacher makes that decision. The Chinese character for
school shows a passive child with adult hands pouring knowledge into his
empty head.
To mandate outcomes centrally would be a major step in the destruction of
Western identity. Management by objectives, whatever those objectives might
be, is a technique of corporate subordination, not of education. Like
Alfred's, Charlemagne's awareness of Asia was sharpened in mortal combat.
He was the first secular Western potentate to beat the drum for secular
schooling. It was easy to ignore Plato's gloomy forecast that however
attractive utopia appears in imagination, human nature will not live easily
with the degree of synthetic constraint it requires.

Provo tell of hearing Brigham Young say, "The time will come when this
people are led onto the very brink of apostacy." Jones made an entry of it

through Lorin C. Woolley, that his father, John W. Woolley,

generation has ever even lived at that time, so there is always a little bit
of doubt. For instance, there is always a possibility that some of the
literary evidences were fabricated. But the Holy Ghost has testified to me
that
the claim of several scholars concerning the true identity of the man titled
the Bard is that Sir Francis, the acknowledged author of New Atlantis, or in
other
words, an anti-Christ. That is how I know for sure.

For instance, the Foucault pendulum effect. Is it because the Earth is
rotating about its axis or is the pendulum's plane of oscillation really
rotating by some mysterious means? Draw your conclusion carefully, because
your natural eye may be deceived. I speak only for myself. The Holy Ghost
has not granted me a manifestation concerning this matter, but the Holy
Ghost
did grant me a manifestation that the ether is anisotropic (which initially
I had some difficulty visualizing in the framework of Dayton Miller's
interferometer observations), and then several days later I learned about
the work of Maurice Allais and soon afterwards read that Smoot and Mather
(of COBE
satellite fame) are going to be awarded this year's Nobel in physics. The
anisotropy of ether is not fully convincing except a person has received a
manifestation of the Spirit. Either that, or experience what what an
inspired (though he was probably not fully conscious of it) scientist like
Maurice Allais has experienced and
think the honest conclusions that he eventually arrived at, after much
pondering. Based alone on Maurice Allais's deductions drawn from his
pendulum observations and his analysis of the Dayton Miller data and also on
the COBE data showing anisotropy of the Cosmic Background Microwave
Radiation, an honest person that has not yet received
the heavenly witness can indeed say that anisotropy of ether is the most
plausible explanation. Therefore, ideas given by the
power/inspiration/suggestion of the Holy Ghost, rather than pure empiricism,
are at the pinnacle of the scientific method, for pure objectivity is one of
the requirements for receiving the Spirit's witness. Nikola Tesla claimed
that ideas for his inventions came from a source external to himself.

I have been very much interested of late with regard to the studies and
researches of the geologists who have been investigating the geological
character of the Rocky Mountain country. Professor Marsh, of Yale College,
with a class of his students, has spent, I think, four summers in succession
in the practical study of geology in these mountain regions. What is the
result of his researches? There is one result, so far, that particularly
pleases me. There are some here who know a man by the name of John Hyde,
from London, formerly a member of this Church, who apostatized and went
back; and his great argument against the Book of Mormon was, that it stated
that the old Jaredites and, perhaps, the Nephites, who formerly lived on
this continent, had horses, while it is well knows that horses were unknown
to the aboriginal inhabitants of America when it was discovered by Columbus,
and that there were no horses here until they were imported for Europe.
Now, since Professor Marsh and his class began their investigations, they
have found among the fossil remains of the extinct animals of America no
less than fourteen different kinds of horses, varying in height from three
to nine feet. These discoveries made Professor Marsh's students feel almost
as though they could eat up these mountains, and their enthusiasm for
studying the geology of the regions around Bridger's Fort was raised to the
highest pitch. In their researches among these mountains they have formed
the opinion that there was once a large inland sea here, and they think they
have discovered the outlet where the water broke forth and formed Green
River. Here in these valleys and in these ranges of mountains we can follow
the ancient water line. This discovery of Professor Marsh is particularly
pleasing to us "Mormons," because he has so far scientifically demonstrated
the Book of Mormon to be true.
Here is the kingdom of God; do you want to enter into it, or not? do you
want the future blessings of this kingdom, or do you not? Have your choice;
but whomsoever you list to obey, his servants you will be whether it is
Jesus or the devil; please yourselves, have your choice. But all know we
can not serve two masters acceptably; if we love one, we shall hate the
other, and if we hold on to one, we shall despise the other. We must either
be for the kingdom of God, or not. But we shall organize this holy order
here before we leave. We give the invitation to all of you to come and get
organized. Let us be one; let us carry out the order that God has
established for the family of heaven. God bless you.

I do not want men to come to me or my brethren for testimony as to the truth
of this work; but let them take the Scriptures of divine truth, and there
the path is pointed out to them as plainly as ever a guideboard indicated

Old King Solomon, the wise man, says, the race is not to the swift, nor the
