From Osher Doctorow
The closest to a geometric-driven physics is arguably Jose B. Almeida's
(U. do Minho, Portugal Physics Dept.) "Geometric drive of the
universe's expansion," physics/0507102 v1 13 Jul 2005, which was
followed by his "Choice of the best geometry to explain physics,"
physics/0510179 v1 19 Oct 2005 and "The null subspace of G_4,1 as
source of teh main physical theories," physics/0410035 v1 6 Oct 2004.
Almeida is a Clifford Algebra researcher but also has an unusually
large assortment of other geometric tools, but it should be emphasized
that the Clifford Algebraists never quite escape the mass-radiation
dominated Mainstream in physics. However, within those limitations,
and reading between the lines so to speak, one can see the makings of a
pure geometry or geometry-topology-change basis for physics.
I'll let readers read his papers as homework and I'll hopefully
continue later.
