If we take the present day threat of the bird-flu-virus and trace it
backwards in time we end up with a animal that has a cancer. That
cancer will have been eaten by another organism, harbored inside that
body and eaten and eaten again and again and evolved inside that
harbored large number of bodies until it becomes our present day
bird-flu-virus.

Every human cancer has the potential of becoming a virus. The
definition of a virus is a packet that has uncontrolled reproduction in
a given environment which is the same definition of cancer.

Most bacteria that live on decaying of other organisms if traced back
far enough will be seen to be at one time a virus and then at further
time backwards a cancer cell. Molds, fungus if traced back far enough
in time were viruses and traced back even further in time were cancer
cells.

The first life on Earth was a cosmic ray that was stopped in water and
the Ray is electromagnetic energy of 10^15 Mev and a light ray is
*perfect DNA* and so when it is stopped in water that energy easily
converts to forming a colony of blue green algae. We still, today have
cosmic rays forming new life on Earth of blue green algae, we just have
not noticed it. The rest of life evolved from that cosmic-ray-life.
Some of those algae of first life had cancer cells within them and all
the other Cosmic Ray life forms that were created and stable enough to
survive. Keep in mind that 10^15 MeV can create a small insect and so
if there are enough blue green algae around that insect can prosper.

Whenever planet Earth becomes too much of one single organism such as
too much of dinosaurs then the process of life favors cancers and
viruses that feed on those overabundant creatures. It is well known
that dinosaurs declined heavily in numbers before meteor bolides
impacted on Earth. The situation today on Earth is that humanity is far
too abundant to support Earth ecosystem and therefore humanity is going
to be visited by overwhelming viral pandemics-- simply due to the fact
that we, like the dinosaurs are the largest untapped reservoir of food
for microorganisms. And not just one plague but a multitude of plagues
all at once. In the Middle Ages when bubonic plague hit and killed 1/3
of Europe was mostly one plague at a time. By this century when
humanity population should be 1 to 2 billion instead of 7 to 8 billion,
the plagues will be multifold, so that we have AIDS, bird-flu, and
several others all working simultaneously.

If Humanity will not control its own overpopulation, then Nature will
intervene and bring it down to what this planet can support.
