better start making your AFDBs soon!

see how to make an AFDB at

relevance to physics:
What would it take to get an fMRI machine working (with useful
resolution) where the sample volume is that of a small room, say 9x9x9
ft?
If feasible, you could install one in the spare bedroom of your house,
then record your thoughts directly onto the internet. Next level
reality TV? (*)
An fMRI hat may be easier to make, but the weight could be a problem.
With top-of-the-range neodymium supermagnets how little could such a
hat weigh?

br
(*) so long as you don't wear belts, or zips, or watches, or have metal
implants, or..., but that's a small price to pay.

also came across

where they can use fMRI to know your thoughts better than you can (!).
My previous post may not have been entirely original, but modern
technology always advances.
Any problems with the weight of the fMRI hat (and after all, Dr
John-Dylan Haynes of the UCL Institute of Neurology says they will be
made some day) could be offset by use of a stylish large helium
balloon.
