Further forms of function (df/dx)(dg/dx) in Physics 18: Security Nahtloser |
Google search found the function (df/dx)(dg/dx) in/on Commodore 4, and 7
machines, fully implemented. A Security note was attached in the notes by a
un-named group. There is also some German notes imbedded in the code, I
dont know what it says, and I found greek characters too. Apperently they
are using it "(df/dx)(dg/dx)" in some form of security code, or the name of
a code group.
Here is what I found in the source code;
Jerry, I've double checked the immediate passive port, via Z = Sum,[ n=0 to
y, f*g (df/dx)(dg/dx) ] and couldn't find nothing bad in it. Ja, der
Nahtloser read-only Server funktioniert nicht. But, I think the configurable
operative socket works fine here, given x<y-1. I'm still working on the
short-range upgradable variable z and z'. Alles, nur keinen Offline
gesteuerter Protocolstack. Jerry, there is a problem with the dual-head
decentralized server code. Sometimes, my full-range parallel adapter hung
while processing the encoder logic.

test.com C. Where can I find cancel messages? As you must have a cancel
message to show that your message was cancelled, it is a good idea to know
where to look for them. The best answer, in the short term, is to search
control for the cancel (see section II.A. for details). If you are unable to
find them there, the Usenet search engines may be able to help - using
Dejanews or AltaVista, search for your email address and the string
'cancel', and you may be able to find any cancels issued for your posts.
A FINAL NOTE The information you have just read is designed to serve as a
guide to assist you in the conduct of your security responsibilities.
However, it by no means describes the extent of your obligation to protect
information vital to the defense of our nation. Your knowledge of specific
security regulations is part of a continuing process of education and
experience. This handbook is designed to provide the foundation of this
knowledge and serve as a guide to the development of an attitude of security
awareness.
In the final analysis, security is an individual responsibility. As a
participant in the activities of the (df/dx)(dg/dx) organization, you
are urged to be always mindful of the importance of the work being
accomplished by (df/dx)(dg/dx) and of the unique sensitivity of the
(df/dx)(dg/dx) operations.

From Osher Doctorow
Boris Uon's rather amusing post which is a take-off on my
(df/dx)(dg/dx) thread types:
In the final analysis, security is an individual responsibility. As a
participant in the activities of the (df/dx)(dg/dx) organization, you
are urged to be always mindful of the importance of the work being
accomplished by (df/dx)(dg/dx) and of the unique sensitivity of the
(df/dx)(dg/dx) operations.
There is actually no (df/dx)(dg/dx) organization that I know of, which
doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. To say it another way, "Merely
because I've never heard of it, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist." :<
)
If someone does want to start a (df/dx)(dg/dx) organization, the only
rule that I can think of is: don't let me know about it. I would,
however, suggest that nobody start such an organization unless
he/she/it keeps the membership down to 1 person (not necessarily me).
This is because organizations of more than one person tend to be
Conformist, Bureaucratic, and beyond the comprehension of their own
members since human beings have a tendency to not even know when alone
whether they are (a) extended, (b) contracted, (c) accelerating, (d)
decelerating, (e) moving, or any or all of the above - much less when
in groups (contiguous or remote so to speak) of 2 or more.
If two or more people want to form separate (df/dx)(dg/dx) groups, they
could label them (df/dx)(dg/dx)_1, (df/dx)(dg/dx)_2, etc. Again, I
recommend little contact between them for reasons similar to those in
the previous paragraph.
Security is not a consideration at all except in the form of
Self-Defense. One should distinguish between greed-security and
power-security, which rough translate as "safely in the money" and
"safely in power" respectively. Self-Defense in general has nothing
to do with either of these. Neither do mathematics or physics.
As for the work accomplished by (df/dx)(dg/dx), it is probably time to
introduce the notion of mental work to a species almost totally
dedicated to physical work and sleep. I will try to get to that in one
of my next postings. Of course, (df/dx)(dg/dx) and its
generalizations do physical and mental work in various contexts.

From Osher Doctorow
Some people may already be considering abbreviating (df/dx)(dg/dx) to
FXGX or fxgx, which would make it easier to form 1-person
organizations: fxgx1, fxgx2, etc. It would also make it easier to
answer critics by asking: "What part of fxgx don't you understand?"
I do urge replacing the usual 4-letter words used by university
students and faculty and government and corporate hacks (who may or may
not all coincide) by fxgx types properly or even improperly labelled.
This will make internet forums less jarring on the computers even if on
nobody else. I understand that there is also some sympathy for "fxgx"
among plumbers and electricians, which should be decisive in our modern
world.

From Osher Doctorow
A brief note concerning God Save the Plumbing or GSP as it can be
abbreviated. It occurred to me just now that one of the trolls might
accuse me of claiming that it's related to ESP. The only relationship
of GSP to ESP is that of plumbing to the mind, which probably coincides
in trolls except that their minds are better described by FSP which I
will not translate here.
