God and storms |
I guess
It looks like 1 more storm will hit the U.S. Justice.
God uses many things to punish people. God uses storms to create
justice.
Most people do not ever say - God is working against me - I will try be
be good.
People associated with Texas have done a lot of dishonest things.
Punishment to people who do crimes has been dishonest. People of Texas
may get a little punishment that they are suppose to get before they go
to hell.

Do you not even read your own Bible? God promised to spare the
wicked city if even a single good person were within it. Storms, by
their very character, wreak wholesale destruction, even upon those who
are good. Are you saying that there is not a single good person in the
deep south? You sound a lot like Banerjee. *YOU*- are not good.

Cause and Effect are in operation, God may be on the sidelines:
a: Polluting atmosphere increasing incremently for nearly 200 years
causes the straw that breaks the camel's back.
b: Sunspot activity.
c: Collective unconscious of fanatical parts of the islamic community
by the use of pray against the imperalistic nature of America and it's
allies in Afghanistan & Iraq. (It's how magic operates).
d: This is predestined to happen and is part of the greater plan of God
for the future of humanity (look how the race issue in New Orleans as
been brought to the forefront, finally everyone can see that Martin
Luther King's Dream for a better humanity, subverted by the grey men in
power is now in tatters and hopefully this disaster will shake away
prejudices that still exist).

People have commented that America is not a Christian counry this
conforms it. A Christian is someone who follows Christ. The two posts
here are Unchristian.
The God of the New Testament is NOT a sick *****. The problem of evil
is something which has occupied a lot of theological minds throughout
the ages. Let us look at what Christ himself said.
"Were those people killed by the tower of Siloam any more guilty than
the rest?"
Looking at this, not from the stand point of theology but looking at
this as an engineer we can gain some useful insights. I am basically a
pure scientist. Mu son studied Engineering. It was quite interesting.
He had formulae he could quote, I hsad to derive them from foirst
principles. How do you get on if you cannot calculate the torque to put
on a shaft. Answer is you build until you get a collapse and learn from
experience.
A modern engineer is obliged to look at this from the stand point of
engineering principles. We rightly hold engineers culpable when thinds
go wrong. After the Tacoma bridge disaster vibrational analysis was
included.
God expects us to be good Engineers. For The Romans not to understand
the principles of modern engineering was unfortunarte.
For us, and George Walker Bush in particular, not to engineer New
Orleans correctly is to me utterly unforgivable. The weakness in the
levees was pointed out for the past 20 years. Several hurricanes
narrowly missed NO. You might argue that the near miisses were acts of
God, but the warnings were not read.
I would also like to point out that sci.physics is dedicated to the
application of science in finding rational solutions. To find out how
to approach hurricanes RATIONALLY look at "Prevention and control of
hurricanes".
If God is punishing America for anything at all it is for the neglect
of science and technology, not for gaity, Southern Decadence or
anything else.

the South. I've been calling for taking over the world since last
December on Wikipedia. Then the tsunami hit. Next I want a dust storm
to destroy the lower empires, and for cretins like you to be in the
right spot when it happens.
