I guess
When David counted the people of the country it was a big sin. It was
like saying - see how many people make up our country - are actions are
making us winners - a lot of people was good for the country.
God did it. People did not do it. When people are winners it is
because of God. Any person who thinks science will - help people -
save people - is doing a sin. God may destroy them.
People need to understand how much they can do. People need to
understand how much depends on God.
God will punish the whole group if some of the group is dishonest.
