Grahics drawer wanted to show light source dependency |
I require someone who understands that the velocity of light in a
vacuum is dependent on the velocity of its source, to draw (preferably
animated) diagrams for posting, which demonstrate how Einstein came to
his original (erroneous) postulate of time changing due to velocity. I
will describe the detailed scenario via email.
Thanks

What you need to do is read some books about relativity first, then rephrase
your question.

Can't you read? Where is the question mark? I am making a request! If
some one was prepared to do this for me, THEN he/she can question me,
as to what is REQUIRED....... and WHY (so as to better understand the
construction of the diagrams)
It is quite obvious that I will not get a volunteer from amongst the
DHR's here, although many would no doubt have the computer smarts to
do so. After all, it is VERY counter to their views.

Oh, everyone (well, most anyway) here can read.
Problem is you are asking for someone to give you a picture of the
icebergs on the Sun
In simple terms, you made an asinine request.

To you, as a TRUE BELIEVER, and stalwart disciple of Albert E, maybe.
If I was requiring a portrait to be made of the Madonna, no doubt your
reply would be exactly the same-- (impossible to draw someone who
never existed).
However, if such a picture came to light, of proven provenance circa
year 1,
then your position is tenuous, to say the least.......
You should at least be a little curious....... (but sound more
fearful)

Since my first exposure to doppler radar was 1968, and having dealt with
such things at the design level over the past 30+ years, I think I have
at least a vague understanding of elecromagnetic propagation and how it
works.
What devices based on elecromagnetic propagation have you built that
worked as designed?
The only thing I'm curious about is where you get your asinine ideas
that have absolutely no foundation in either theory or proven engineering
fact.
Any fear you perceive is just another fantasy.
Since what you want is pure fantasy, I would suggest you contact Dream
Works; they are very good at animating fantasy.
In fact, I think they already did you; weren't you the sidekick in
Shrek?

Looks like I will have to find someone local with the simple graphics

"shrinks" due to the high velocities involved on the internet)

Socks,
I have discovered (locally) that the animated diagramatical drawing I
require would take an amount of time (by a cluey operator) to produce
which I cannot finance (many hours). He mentioned multiple layered GIF
files, and even then the addition of text would be problematical.
Apart from that, the tone of your previous replies suggest that a Bin
Laden could appear could appear in my presentation at any
time............so thanks........but "no thanks"!

A" B"
C"
System A A" A' represents path of a photon emitted at A (ceiling of
train) and progressing to A" (mirror) and return with train
stationary, OR as seen by passenger.
B B" B' is the path that the photon takes as seen by AE on the
platform if the train is moving right (in this case, at about .5c)
C C" C' is the same as A A" A' acting in SYNCRONISATION
The path velocities in the vertical axis are ALL fixed together, and
therefore have the SAME PERIOD; ergo, the three systems are
syncronised clocks, which generate certain paths in THE SAME TIMES.
Path B system is clearly longer! Why? Because the motion of B (source)
has ADDED vector velocity to its photon.
Why did the passenger not notice the extra distance which the photon
travelled? Because he was denied the information. If he could see the
background, as AE could from the platform, the passenger too would
have concluded that his photon had also travelled a longer
path........
.......and that is why systems A B & C all arrive back at their sources
TOGETHER.
There was NO extra time taken due to the trains motion- B travelled
further!

On the contrary, it is causing a Doppler shift of the emitted light.
Study the Doppler effect in SR before putting your foot in it.

The photons are traveling at the speed of light and the wavelengths are
shifted to the blue because the Andromeda galaxy has velocity TOWARD us.
SR and the Doppler effect are correct. Andromeda and the Milky Way will
have an interaction (collision, pass through, disruption) in a few
billion years.
Jim, you really should read up on the Doppler effect on light.

universe. See Doppler Effect for the effect on light of the
relative motion between light source and observer!
Don't listen to cranks on the internet.
Look up "Andromeda+blue shift".
Yes. So what? This *contradicts* your point and *proves* Sam's.
The galaxy is adding its velocity to
that of the photons which it is emitting.....
Err, no. The speed of light from Andromeda is still c. The velocity of
Andromeda isn't added to the velocity of the photons.

The speed of light is constant and the same for all observers.
For you to claim otherwise flies in the face of centuries of
empirical data of observation and experiment.
Speed of Light
http://scienceworld.wolfram.com/physics/SpeedofLight.html
The speed of light is independent of the motion of the source
and/or observer. There has never been a prediction of Special
Relativity (in its domain) that has been contradicted by an
observation. NEVER!
Jim, this means that you misunderstand this fundamental fact
about our universe. I am not trying to deceive you!

Actually, yes. To any observer, the speed of light is the same,
irrespectively of the speed of the source relative to him.
This has been verified experimentally up to source velocities very
close to that of light itself.
By the way, do you realise that for an observer at the edge of a pond,
surface waves produced by a moving source have the same speed as waves
produced by a fixed source? Don't come back until you have taken that

If you think that a ripple on a pond , is "the equivalent" of an EM

You might have been! I was discussing source dependence of particles
(in this case, photons). If you think that photons are NOT particles,
carry on.........
