GRAVITY |
There's a humongous black paperback (large format) called 'Gravity'
which my philosopher roommate (20 years ago?) had and refused to let
me look at.
Is that some sort of bible of Gravity? This guy was very possessive
about his intellectual hoard.
Thanks.

Yeah - MTW is a holy book only available to a 2378th level Freemartin
or physics matriculants wearing a foil beanie with interfoliated lossy
ferrite. For others to open it is instant death - but only for remote
victims. How many Botswanians did you kill today?

Strange. The Global Brain will lock-in faster if everybody is free and
open with information. That situation is like a clear signal rather
than one beriddled with static.

The Gravity of thy roommate is not lent,
It droppeth from the upper shelf to land
Upon your toe beneath: And so bespeaks
Its meaning clear with naught a word expressed.
With pages blank, the fallen monarch
Reaches for his wisdom's crown,
That spins in gyroscopic glee,
Across the floor in wild temptation,
Proven yet beyond him still.
