Happy Easter All
The Lord is risen
God Bless All, especially those who need Him greatly.
Tony.
Remember Mother Theresa a tireless worker for the unloved and
forgotten. Her work continues today, especially in the developed West.
She is now working 'from Home'.

What is that unknown force which makes all other forces work. David Thomson
calls it the "G-force". Lederman speaks of the "God Particle". Even world
renown scientists believe in God. What was before the Big Bang and what

Title: Re: Happy Easter 19 Apr 2006 05:18:12 PM
ask the horse for a start!! he'll answer you! he'll probably say thank
God for the 'miracle'.
we in our day and age tend not to see things such as miracles as valid.
but in general on the question of miracles, i am accepting of what the
Bible says with valid interpretation.
so, is this curing of the epilectic a factual account?
i have little idea what the description in this case is referring to
physically.
i do accept Heaven and Hell, and the existence of angels and devils. I
accept that our intellects and consciences can be manipulated by evil
spirits or 'demons' if we permit it somehow. some of us are weak in
this regard and some are strong.
And I accept that those who wrote the gospels were closer to Jesus
because they physically spoke to and lived with Him.
I also accept that we have knowledge that the apostles DIDN"T have.
i KNOW too that we DON"T know everything about everything either.
so i am like many many others intrigued by this cure.
but many christians including myself DO beleive in exorcism and its
spiritual basis that has been around since the days of the shaman; i
have a respect for many of these early doctors except where they used
their position for their own ends like some doctors do today. but in
general they used techniques (such as herbal medicine, acupuncture)
that we are just learning about today.
so how many of todays ills are spiritual based?
in my opinion, and i speak to many beleivers about this, MUCH of our
troubles is due to troubled spirits.
i would suggest to you that the last century with its atomic bomb and
anarchistic attitudes (which ain't all bad, only most of it) has led to
a loss of faith in anything other than we can see. i.e atheism. hence
the rise of communism which on the face of it is as marx preached, not
unlike christianity. but the theory and its practice are far removed.
it is ironic that the white russians were the meat in the sandwich
between adolf and stalin. it is also ironic that the new science of
biophotonics sprang up inside the iron curtain. it appears that china
with its communist regime may finally be seeing that religion is a
personal issue, we need to wait and see a bit more in this case.
so, i for one hope and pray for Christ's return to organize us into a
paradise on earth. and i see signs of this amongst the chaos of teh
middle east.
