Heavy ions damage DNA (Oct 14)

Medical physicists in Canada have discovered that heavy-ion-beam cancer
therapy can cause more damage to healthy DNA than previously believed.
The harm is caused by low-energy secondary particles rather than the
heavy ions themselves. The results could help medical physicists develop
more accurate dose models for heavy-ion therapy (Phys. Rev. Lett. 95
153201).

How does any of this differ from human experimentation? Cancer
patients are test beds for human experimentation free of malpractice
fears or human rights tribunals. Render them for their insurance
cash. Nobody dies until the money runs out.

final knowledge will be had. A null result is the historic Gold
Standard
of performance, but the truth is a Platinum result. The net result is
the
trivially reproducible falsification of Special Relativity in existing
mathematics
all over the world. Professionals call this "science." We don't care
what
god-fearing witch burners and wog haters call it.
Credit for a successful disclosure cannot be stolen by an unsuccessful
rogue
researcher.
