How to measure core temperature of grill? |
I have a grill called a Big Green Egg. I'm sure some of you are
familiar with this device. Anyway, using a small fan I can get the
thermometer in the dome easily pegged, and it goes to 750F. I'm
guessing the actual temperature in the dome is well over 850F.
Temperatures like this do a great job of searing delicious steaks!
So this poses the question, how could one with reasonable accuracy
measure the core temperature of the grill?

Bend glass in a length of time.
What can it melt down and in how much time.
TempSticks ar not thermomiters but latle foundry dip rods to see what
melts and what dont if you dip a sandwitch of stuff.
SO yell ay us back and say what is it that you have meltd down and we
will all know how hot it got.
