Hi all
I would be happy if you had a look at my paper: "Interpreting Recoil
Motion for Undergraduate Students" and told me your comments. An
acknowledgment has been made already in the paper to a member of the
google groups for his discussion with me on a topic related to the
paper.
I think the paper is good for those who seek deep understanding for
their students ( and of course for themselves) of a very important
concept: recoil.
This is the url of the paper:
http://arxiv.org/abs/0710.2155
N.B I admit that some figures are missing in the paper to show the
quantitative results of the quiz.
Thanks
.

Sadly the URL provides only an abstract of your paper, not the entire
7 pages.
I'm interested, because I tend to consider "recoil" to be a simple
action/reaction thing, best analyzed in terms of momentum. Still, if
you have new light to shed on the subject, I would be very interested
in reading it. If you wish to do so, you can send your entire paper to
me by email: hhc3141@yahoo.com. I could then respond to you by email
with my reactions/thoughts.

It does. See the download option on right hand side of that page.

I just read the full paper, and the only thing that comes to my mind
as a result is that the writer needs to repeat Physics 101. He
doesn't seem to grasp the even the basic concepts of simple Newtonian
Mechanics.
Actually, I am tempted to believe that he wrote this entire paper as a
joke. Kid do that sort of thing.
'Nuff said.
