is this for real ?? |
i read a newspaper article
and i dont remember it very well ,
but it was about someone who created
an atomic theory based on the idea that there was a
particle that was effected by
'a pseudo magnetic force'
that mde it travel in circles like an elcetron in magnetic field .
his theory apparently went against
massless particles and reletivistic mass
but he developed a rough accounting for
the some propertis of the nucleus
i think the mass mainly ,
but might not have recaled correctly
anyway the article said he wasnt looked upon well by the
*scintific* community
, but some obscure organizatin (which i cant remember)
thought he might be up to something
and gave him $1 million to research on it .
can anyone recall
whether is this story for real ,
or was it 'only a joke'
and if it is 'for real' than is he a crackpot,
or what ??

There's nothing like a rigorous foundation upon which to build an
axiomatic construct.

[snip crap]
