Object: Lecture of the Week: Mac/Linux
At the request of a number of people, the Evolutionary Biology Lecture
of the Week series are now viewable on Mac and Linux platforms as well
as Windows.
Each lecture in the series has been converted into a SMIL-formatted
(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language-format) so that it may be
played as an embedded player in a browser.
Two players are available to play SMIL-encoded material, QuickTime and
Real Player. For SMIL lectures, Real is the better player, and indeed
is the only player available for Linux.
The lectures are available at:
http://aics-research.com/lotw/index.html
Notes on using the players to maximum advantage are available at:
http://aics-research.com/lotw/notes.html

Debian people do not believe in evolution.

Mac users do believe in Darwin, though.
