Object: Light clock assumption of Lorentz transformation
I have seen derivation of Lorentz transformation in many articles
based on assumption of a light clock on a moving frame, which shots
light. The speed of light is constant. Then derivation leads to
lorentz transformation formula.
I supposed that light and time are independent, although time and
light speed are dependent.
Light could be a method to define a clock. Some people may use shadow
of sunlight to indicate time. Presently if this shadow clock is moved
from Japan to Germany, it will run very fast in the airplane. But
after it is taken back to Japan again, it will work normally as usual.
The Lorentz transformation might be derived from the trace of light
seen by people stand on a fixed and absolute frame. It just tells us
that time defined by light clock changes, but not for other types of
clocks.
People do their effort in derivation of Lorents transformation are
free to use any constrains lead to the equations. Our universe will be
formed from various constructions due to assumptions which lead to
Lorentz transformation.

No derivation or proof refers to Lorentz transformation in this web site.
All are found to be applications.
