looking for evidence of the supernatural |
I am not a skeptic.I’d like to be regarded as open minded. I am
54 years old and at my age one begins to wonder about whether there
is life after death. There are hundreds maybe thousands of pages
written on this subject but I have never encountered any evidence of
the supernatural. So if there is a medium or a psychic out there who
can give me proof of life after death, I’d be eternally
grateful. I know many people who have passed over. So if any medium
could give me a message from any of these people who have passed over
which only just the two of us could have know(the person who has
passed over and me)would be proof enough for me.
Thanks

The only evidence we have is the fact that we cannot understand the
Universe. We don't know what light is, what is a photon, we don't know what
gravity is, we don't know how to turn a machine intelligent, we cannot have
a working mechanism for relativity (it is what it is but no one understands
why).
99% of the people around here believe they know everything, but the fact is
that they don't, but they believe they do.
We are as ignorant as we always was about the most basic subjects:
1 - Light
2 - Gravity
3 - Intelligence

That is your idea of empirical evidence! A lack of understanding?
"I give you hard evidence your honor of life after death: We just don't
understand the universe! I rest my case."
We are as ignorant as we always was about the most basic subjects

2 - Gravity
3 - Intelligence
You missed your english classes along with your math and science!
Wees all mighty dumb around here even if wees does know everything.

And the evidence to support that assertion is based on what?
We are as ignorant as we always was about the most basic subjects:
Speak for yourself.

That's one reason why people have children - so their influence won't
die after they have.
If I were you, I'd become a skeptic, because there are armies of crooks
out there who will happily take your cash and trick you into believing
that they can talk to the dead. They use the well-developed techniques
of mentalism, which is an obscure brand of magic last mastered by the
Amazing Kreskin.
Steve Martin clearly showed how these hucksters operate in his excellent
movie "Leap of Faith," and I'd suggest you rent it before one of these
shysters separates you from your hard earned cash. There's another one
making the rounds of the talk show circuit, and he's getting the usual
buzz that he doesn't deserve.
It's sad, but I prefer the motto of an old mentor of mine, Dominick
Rampino. "When an old man dies, it's like a library burning down."

Live it up. The body is mechanical at the smallest level. A self
repairing, mobile, massively parallel data processing and self
replicating machine. It will quit when it breaks and that is all there
is!
The world is now composed of more than 6 billion people, 100,000,000
video cameras, three times that many still cameras, in-fared red
detectors, and constant coverage of most of the spectrum all observing
day and night and not one glimpse of record-able proof of life after
death. There is also the $1,000,000 dollars Randi has up of any proof
of psychic ability. Houdini left a message with his wife that only the
two of them would know. She never received it from any medium or
source. It looks like the answer is no, there is no life after death.

No. A cherry red convertable is not a guaranteed babe magnet,
drinking Bailey's Irish Cream will not make you uncontainably happy,
and we are still waiting for the "Peace Dividend."
There are hundreds maybe thousands of pages

Hundreds of thousands of pages? Ha ha ha! Hundreds of thousands of
different books - all of them horrible trash. Bibles alone have swept
the Earth clean of forests.
So if there is a medium or a psychic out there who

grateful.
Talk to James "Amazing" Randy OTOH, and Houdini OTOH.
I know many people who have passed over.
Died. The choice is then to rot or be cremated. Military action is
somewhere in-between.

That's glossoalia, git, and it comes straight from God's mouth. Given

Don't worry, you'll find out sooner or later without any psychics.
