Southern magnetic field is positive because it takes in energy.
Northern magnetic field is negative becuase it gives out energy.
Franklin made a big boo-boo, thinking that electricity flows from
positive to negative. Okay maybe positrons would. Electrons, I'm
afraid not.
Electrons flow from negative to positive. Negative electrode has an
excess of electrons. Positive electrode is deficient in electrons.
In magnetism, "magnetons" flow from north to south (never the
reverse).
There most likely do exist individual magnetic charges. When north
magnetic charge (magnetic equivalent of electron) meets a south
magnetic charge (magnetic equivalent of positron) they attract and
cancel each other out.
Like electric charges, magnetic charges are "heterosexual" and
"homophobic".
Problem is, we haven't been able to retrieve magnetic charges in the
simple way we can retreive electric charges. A 1980's experiment
seemed to have detected a magnetic monopole but was never replicated.

pos to neg OR neg to pos.
The electron is pushed from the orbit it was in into the next orbit it
crosses as to make a figer 8 when it belongs to two atoms when in
between and emf backpresure pushes it past the resistance as an amp.
