Measured, Measured, Weighed, Divided, in Departure |
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Wednesday, August 9th, 2006 AD, beginning ~18:53:56 UT, Venus
transits Semi-Square Mars. Both planets are in direct motion
(Venus: +1.2188907; Mars: +0.6297969), with Mars closing the
distance towards the tail of the Dragon in co-rulership.
So mark your calendars, 16 Av 5766 (Thursday, August 10, 2006),
begins the dominant rulership of Venus 7 & Mars 8, by transits.
The peak of this Venus & Mars reign will be 04:04:43 UT Monday
September 4th 2006, being reinforced by Lilith 8 and Jupiter 9,
thereby preventing Mercury from "stealing" the daily horoscope
during this period, the Sagittarian holding reign in the ninth;
Mars conjoins superior the 23rd, Venus the 27th, duo made meat.
Competition will increase, approaching the kalends of October,
owing to Venus transiting 15 degrees orb, acquiring with Mars,
13:26:07 UT Friday September 29th, 2006; but will hold through
most of October until about the 26th, on account of the Moon 4.

Astrology is *****, go away.
Do you realise that Newtonian cosmology and its exotic relativistic
extensions are based on the notion of axial rotation in 23 hours 56 min
04 sec or the time it takes a star to return to a meridian ?.It not
only has a passing structure to astrology,it is astrology !.

I absolutely detest having to repeat this stuff over and over again but
the other option is far,far worse. You are not just closer to the
original poster's astrological efforts, your working principles are
identical but proposed as a fact. You probably imagine that you and your
colleagues do not attach celestial sphere geometry to the motions of
the Earth but the unfortunate fact is that it is a geometrical
certainty that you do hence the
warped-space-every-valid-point-is-the-center-of-the-universe exotic
junk.
If it does not frighten people into action,it should,it truly, truly
should.

What would you prefer, the notion of the Earth rotating on its axis
once every 24 hours?

personally, i'd prefer 7 times a week, given the choice.

John Savard
Preference has nothing to do with the pace of a clock hand sweeping
across its face in sync with axial rotation at 4 minutes for each
degree of rotation and 24 hours/360 degrees in total.
It takes just a little effort to recognise the principles which make 24
hours/360 degrees an absolute geometrical and mathematical certainty
and it is vital to get it right for both heliocentric astronomy and the
human devised principles of the clock system and its pragmatic uses.
The 24 hour clock system allied to axial rotation never required an
external reference to justify its existence,it is just a consequence of
the way the original 24 hour day was created from the natural unequal
day through the noon EoT correction and the transfer of that principle
to another one - the heliocentric insight that the Earth has an
independent axial rotation.
The means by which the Equation of Time correction continually adjusts
natural noon to 24 hour clock noon does not beg a physical
interpretation in its pre-Copernican format,it is simply an adjustment
to create the equable 24 hour day which in turn was extended to create
the calendar system of annual motion based on equable 24 hour days.
Set the calendar system and its celestial sphere roots aside and
return to the core Equation of Time system which must be very ancient
in origin considering that you cannot create the calendar system
without the equable 24 hour day.
The heliocentric adaption of the equable 24 hour day to terrestial
longitudes and axial rotation at 4 minutes for each degree is just a
subtle transfer of one human devised scheme (24 hour day) to another
(terrestial longitudes). In its cleverness,it uses the pre-Copernican
principle that each day is constant and reworks that human devised
principle into the idea that the Earth axial rotation is constant, this
discovery only emerged after De Revolutionibis in 1453.
Coming to recognise the subtle transfer should expose the
calendrically structured sidereal value and its attendent
justification as a truly awful mutation which uses two external
references to justify a rotational value that does not require
any, again,it is just the way the human devised principle for the 24
hour day was applied to the principle that axial rotation is
independent and constant.
I would really wish that somebody else picked up on the great
heliocentric adaption of the 24 hour day to axial rotation at 15
degrees per hour because it is vital to detach it from the
counter-productive Newtonian mutations built on sidereal celestial
sphere geometry.
