My prediction is coming true: 5 devastating hurricanes for Florida 2005 due to 4 in 2004 |
My prediction was based on simple math. Global Warming is increasing
and thus the Gulf water region builds up alot of heat every summer.
This heat energy needs to be released or as thermodynamics says: moves
from hot region to cooler region and the case here is Florida. So as we
see year 2005 ending up with 5 major hurricanes of which Katrina is the
newest one which already pounded Ft. Lauderdale and Miami and is
bracing to attack the coast for a second time. That this heat energy
due to global-warming will see some future year not with just 5 major
hurricanes but with 6 and then some year with 7 then 8. And it is
anachronous to have a president of the USA, sitting around doing
nothing about Global Warming. Any other president would have probably
launched a Earth Air Conditioner in the science community similar to
what Kennedy launched a race to the Moon in the science community.
My prediction is also coming true that Florida is uninhabitable by year
2004 due to the Global Warming that pounds that state every year with
killer hurricanes.
What I did not predict was that the interior of the USA will become
more dry and desert like due to the Global Warming. That the hurricanes
influence the jet-stream and the jet-stream does not allow the pattern
of rainfall for the interior of the USA. So that the Midwest
agriculture states such as Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Dakotas, Nebraska,
Colorado etc, receive less rainfall every year.
I would not call it a zero-sum game of amount of fresh water compared
to salt water and the amount of fresh water that falls on continents
every year. But it is a finite quantity of fresh water that I am
certain of. So as Global Warming continues then more energy is focused
on geographical points of release of that pent up energy. Florida is
one of those focal points where Hurricanes will increase making the
state uninhabitable. But also the interiors are affected because much
more fresh water is dumped on the hurricane pathways leaving less fresh
water for interior states and they becoming more desert like. I believe
the mechanism is a dual influence that the fresh water that was due to
go to interior states ends up in the hurricane states where they do not
need more water, and due to the fact that hurricanes alter the jet
stream.
So as Florida and the Gulf Coast states are increasingly battered by
more hurricanes every summer they are also dumped more water upon, for
which that water in decades past went to interior states. Global
Warming disrupts the pattern of weather and of climate and concentrates
the fresh water into a new pattern of climate.
All the more reason for the people of the USA to demand that our
president stop sitting around and call for a Earth Air Conditioner, to
make a demand on our science community that within 5 years time, before
the year 2010 to have a Earth Air Conditioner in place and up there.
The best I can do so far is Aluminum Sequin placed in orbit.

Now one of the more interesting aspects of Global-Warming that has not
been paid much attention to is that of cloud formation. In my post
yesterday I commented that the Global Warming increases hurricane and
possibly tornado activity and dumps water on those hurricane pathways--
water that was previously accustomed to falling in the interior states
but because of the hurricanes altering jet-stream activity that water
that used to fall on interior states now falls in the path of the

interior of continents by altering the Jet Stream but also by the
carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide the greenhouse gases somehow do not
allow for the proper formation of clouds that we saw in the past. I can
vouch for southeast South Dakota. I remember in the 1980s when I lived
here that in the summers we had 2 or 3 days of very hot temperature and
as those hot days proceeded the clouds would build up by the 3rd day
and that evening it would predictably rain. But in the decade of the
early 2000, such as 2004 and 2005 we would have hot days continuing not
just 2 or 3 days relieved by rain but continue for 2 or 3 weeks and
like last year continue for 6 weeks and this year for 5 weeks without
clouds and no rainfall. We have fairly accurate weather reporting here
in the USA and I suspect if anyone has kept records of days of sunshine
compared to days of cloudiness that as Global Warming is increasing so
also is days of hot bright sunshine is increasing over much of the USA.
So how does Global Warming of increased greenhouse gases affect the
number of days of sunshine and ward-off cloud formation? I suspect it
has something to do with the Jet Stream again. But maybe it is
something more direct. Where the greenhouse gases actually directly
decrease the amount of cloud formation. At this moment I do not see a
direct mechanism.
I do remember in the 1980s where clouds would follow one or two days
after hot humid days, but now in 2004 and 2005 I rarely see cloud
formations.
And I wonder if Aluminum sequin to reflect Sunlight were placed in
orbit and as the aluminum eventually comes falling back to Earth,
whether aluminum is a good particle to promote cloud formation. I know
meteorite dust of 1 micron promotes cloud formation. And if my memory
serves the element iodine is often sprinkled in the atmosphere to
promote cloud formation and rainfall. But is Aluminum a cloud former?

There was a good chance that Katrina could have destroyed New Orleans
by a water surge that broke the levees, since the city is below sea
level. But that did not happen. Katrina damaged New Orleans but did not
destroy New Orleans.
As Global Warming continues, it not only makes Florida an uninhabitable
state but makes much of the Gulf Coast states uninhabitable and sooner
or later, New Orleans will be destroyed by these increasing Hurricanes.
Building a Earth-Air-Conditioner by placing Aluminum Sequin into orbit
and positioned over the Gulf Ocean waters would virtually eliminate all
Hurricane activity simply because the lack of heat energy is prevented
from building up into a dangerous Hurricane storm.
In fact, Katrina could have been eliminated and all the other
hurricanes due to form for the remainder of 2005 if the Space Shuttle
mission a few weeks past had planted and distributed Aluminum Sequin in
orbit rather than just a test mission.
And again, we were expecting some rainfall in southeast South Dakota on
Wednesday but because of Katrina that rainfall is in doubt now.
And I am wondering if Aluminum Sequin can be added some iodine to the
sequin in order to increase cloud formation as the sequin falls back to
Earth.
It is estimated that Katrina will cost $25 billion and soon the
Hurricane damagae each year if left unchecked will cost more than wars
cost such as the Iraq war. The price of hurricane damage will cost more
than the USA military expenses.
And this is what happens when you have a president who does not
understand there is a problem. And when you have a problem, you must do
something about the problem.

Consider 9/11,2001 and a FBI or CIA agent who understood what was being
plotted in year 2000. The "regulars" are those complacent and status
quo people. So if you see something more clearly than others, then you
have to raise your voice and be more strident.
Humanity now has the means of abetting Hurricanes. If we act now, we
can make the 2006 summer season to be Hurricane free for the Gulf coast
states. We can do that by placing Aluminum Sequin into orbit so that
the amount of sunshine bearing down on the Gulf waters for year 2006 is
reduced significantly.
The "regulars" are often part of the problem, and not the helpers or
aids to the changes that make the world better.
In the 19th century when large cities started to grow near rivers and
were periodically flooded, for which dam building ended the problem,
the "regulars" in that situation were opposed to the building of dams.
So you need a louder voice and a more strident voice when it comes to
changing human society. Those that offer improving changes with a
"please consider this, please do this..." are never payed attention to.
So you need a louder voice and a more active strident voice.
If you are a scientist and knows of a Earth Air Conditioner that would
eliminate Hurricanes, then you are failing as a scientist to raise your
voice to install such a engineering advance.
