Oh yeah? Well I won the 2012 physics prize for perfecting a method for
time travel.

Dr. Cyril Gripper:
A quiet conversatinon over a drink, and after that he was at it night
and day, and then gone!
Paul Hovnanian:
Dr. Gripper is too heavy on theory, so I thought, why not give it a
go! The garage was full of bits and pieces I might have thrown out!
Cyril:
Paul is an experimentalist before anything else. I warned him not to
enter the shambolic device he had created! Even the door-knob fell
off!.After 3 glasses of port, though, he climbed on board, pushed a
few buttons, and was gone.
Paul:
Cyril is so unadenturous! Sure there were post-Armageddon dangers, so
I labelled both the entrance and exit 'exit'.
Cyril:
Disconteringly, he arrived back before he left, resulting, as the
credits rolled, in doubts as to which was real!

Another nut-case.
Winners are chosen in October, for award in December.

Yeah, I get that. Not like anyone took him seriously.
I didn't know the name, and my first thought when reading
the O.P. was that someone had gotten a Hotmail account with
the name a Nobel Laureate. Nope; my mistake. A know name,
and not as a physicist.
Are you frum Kintukee?
I was born and raised due South of the Mason-Dixon line,
but no. And hey, I don't diss Kentucky. Maybe its just
in my weaker moments, but I'm a fan of their Bourbon and
Lisa Sparxxx.

It's too bad the Nobel prize only covers the specialty sciences and
they left cybernetics out. We need to get Feynman back to get rid of
the "award".
