A piston in a frictionless tube containing a gas.
The piston accelerates from a stopped condition to a moderate
velocity and then decelerates moderately to a stop.
A "pulsewave" is sent down the tube.
When the piston is in the process of stopping what is the pressure at
the top of the piston?

P = F / A = (m / A) * (dv / dt) = (m * v / A) * (dv / dx)
P = ( dT / dx ) / A
