Play NUkes use a little Basic Stamp. |
Here is the basic computer design for my play nuclear weapon.
If Congress does not take the entire security system to OPEN congress
for debate, if is a data design for play removal. In case you are not
familiar with the debate, caucus debate only, allowed a rather South
African design to be initiated. Not as in racial division, only
freedom division.
So all the physicists get to make play nuclear weapons.
A basic dual computer is utilized. One for timing and neutron pulse
triggering and the second for independent control of the trigger. A
basic DT neutron single pulse generator comprises the trigger.
A variety of possible accelerators are usable. A larger 1e16 pulse
allows low enriched uranium trigger pits, btw.
So DT triggers are in for the nuclear crowd. Polonium is out.
A three sensor trigger control is to allow all further activity. A
vacumm, a voltage, and the ion source voltage. Three voltages as
data inputs will confirm operation.
An ion source voltage as combined with the voltage to electric
detonate compresison charges is implemented. An identical, approx.
5000 volt, level is used for each. A special delay switch triggers
explosive compression then triggers the DT pulse. I will USENET post
the delay switch.
Three voltages to turn on, sense, then switch the trigger computer
safety, allowed detonation, input!
So to turn on the computer is to charge the capacitors.
A rather complex design ensues!
How to delay charge capactors and allow testing of components?
So here is the basic detail:
1: Specify the start. A computer will start the timing of the pulse
and fire the trigger.
2: A vacumm system must generate low pressure.
3: A capacitor must charge. A single capacitor will run the ion
source, the accelerator plates, and the explosive detonator.
5: A computer to turn on.
All five systems must coordinate. NUmber four is removed for safety
reasons.
4: Never play with real nukes. A real nuke is to explode. So all
controls make the successful explosion. Four: All charging and vacumm
must hold for the period of detonation delay!!!!!!
So after examination of all variables the secondary computer is to be
allowed to turn on whenever the miner desires.
SO turn on the secondary, move into position. Turn on the primary
computer set the time and leave the area.
All detonation systems must hold for several hours!!!
I posted the trigger software already. Here is the basic data bus.
number 1; 5000 volts turn on
number 2: vacumm sensing.
number 3: 150Kv or less turn on.
A basic delay of five days is the required pumpdown delay requirement.
INstall the tritium target, and pumpdown and the vacumm MUST hold for
five days!
Allowing five days of field travel.
So the hard part is done. Analysis was to allow only successful
triggering after charging of the voltage sources!!!! A sensing to
allow voltage is disallowed as a design. Turn on and successful 5000
of 150Kv is to occur. Test the voltage therfor in the building room.
I was trying to make it to complicated:) After the requirment for
voltage sensing was found gone due to superior design a second
computer requirement disappears!!!

So power applied to the trigger computer powers the capacitors.

A single data bus was then the requirement. A vacumm detector with a
boolean switch to the trigger computer allows the trigger!!!!

A five day delay is easy. Pumpdown then wait five days in the building
room and measure. Five days is easy. A small suitcase vacumm pump
allows world wide travel.
So a single basic PIC or STAMP can control the whole thing.
A critical aspect becomes control lights. A computer power light is
to mean capacitor power. A light to signify safety switch activation.
And the switch to allow setting of the time.
So a single BCD thumbwheel input and two lights.
Read a BCD wheel on power up. A control computer is to detonate.
TURN ON THE POWER AFTER SETTING THE TIME. A Single Read of the switch
then disallow further alteration of the desired timing.
1.POwer on switch
2. Read BCD wheel
3. Turn on safety switch light.
A sucessful pIC will read automatically after powering it up, turn on
a light, and wait in a loop until the desired time was reached.
ANd then the computer timer is found to require its own power supply!
Independently power the computer clock.
SO the nice PIC is allowed.
All design requirments for the HV systems must follow this system.
Four hours delays minimum.
Holding 150Kv for four hours became the hard part.
Simpler designs using 12 volt induction coils are easy. A car battery
will power the DT trigger which uses induction coils! Think of the
amazing efficiency of the TV/monitor scanning coils.
A single scanning coil with the beam passing through the middle of the
coil allows the linac trigger accelerator.
Nukes are not like lunar landers!
A TV coil is a very complex transformer type of induction coil and a
simplified design has been posted. A 12 volt scan coil was the
design. Five in a row allow triggering to the proper energy level.
