I am writing a book that explicitly and graphically discusses the
following,
but as it seems that as I may never get around to finishing the book,
I thought it would be best to let my friends in sci.physics
know this now, so they can chew on it,
and get busy writing the Nobel Committee.
The physical properties can be arranged into four distinct domains
plus two transitional properties (Space and capacitance).
I call the distinct sets of properties called "domains".
These domains are:
=================================
1. The time domain.
2. The time-space domain
3. The time-electro-magnetic domain
4. The mass domain.
=================================
Physical properties in the "time domain" include:
time periods and time intervals.
Physical properties in the "time-space domain" include:
area, diffusivity, volume, volume flow, velocity, acceleration, and
jerk.
Physical properties in the "time-electro-magnetic domain" include:
charge, current, voltage, electric field, and magnetic field.
Physical properties in the "mass domain" include:
mass, mass flow, force, momentum, energy, and power.
The two transitional properties space and capacitance,
along with their associated domains and constants "C" and "Z",
came about
because man perceives that change is conveyed from causes to effects in
two different ways.
Space and the constant "C" are needed to rationalize the perception
that objects (Photons)
convey changes from causes to effects. "C" is called the "speed of
light".
Capacitance and the constant "Z" are needed to rationalize the
perception that electro-magnetic waves
convey changes from causes to effects. "Z" is called the impedance of
space.
Masses are fundamentally composites of times (Loops),
and the defining constants via the time-space domain are 2 pi, C and G.
mass domain(Via photons) = times * 2 pi * C * G
(1.66782048E-02)
The defining constants via the "time-electro-magnetic domain" are 2
pi and Z.
(Z is the impedance of space).
mass domain(Via E-M waves) = times * 2 pi / Z
(1.66782048E-02)
Note that 2*pi*C*G = 2*pi/Z = 1.66782048E-02
and that C*G*Z = 1
The bottom line is that
space and capacitance are unneeded transitional properties
between the time domain and the mass domain,
and they came about because of the two ways that
man perceives how changes are conveyed from causes to effects.
Case in point, note that some religions perceive that angels
convey changes from causes to effects,
and to model this, one would have to introduce another domain
similar to space and capacitance.
Although I plan to reserve the property charts that show the
correspondence between the time-space-mass properties
and the time-electro-magnetic-mass properties for my book,
I may post the charts on my web sites;
regardless, astute folks may see that when capacitance is perceived as
a space,
the following properties are expressions of the same thing,
looked at in different ways (Photons or waves).
==============================
space-capacitance
acceleration-electric field
mass-charge
mass flow-electrical current
velocity-conductance
phi-voltage
diffusivity-magnetic flux
An interesting revelation is that Einstein's phi is a function of the
time rate of change of diffusivity
just as voltage is a function of the time rate of change of magnetic
flux.
It is also interesting to see that space and capacitance, and powers
thereof,
are the only physical properties that have no time component.
Potter law #7
C*G*Z = 1 in any rational units system that links time spaces, E-M
properties and mass properties.
Note that "C", "G" and "1/Z" form a loop,
and thet "C" is associated with the space domain,
that "Z" is associated with the electro-magnetic domain,
and G is associated with the space and mass domains.
"C" "G"
------> (Time-space)-------->
!
2 pi * Time -----
------> (Mass domain)
!
------> (Time-E-M)-------->
"1/Z"
I might mention that the 2 pi comes about because
most properties such as spaces and mass are quantized in radians,
whereas time periods are quantized in cycles, and it is desireable
to get all properties in the same units (cycles or radians).
Just for fun,
I think I will submit this to sci.physics.research,
so I can get a warm, smug feeling when they reject it.
