Quantified time solves QM paradoxes (copywrited) |
Think of the universe as a movie running at zillions of frames per second.
If this is the case the paradox in the double slit experiment can be resolved.
When one makes a measurement it does not split the world into many different
worlds. What happens is that when the next "frame" happens one of zillions of
possible universes happens. This "next to happen frame" incorporates all the
double slit experiments being done in myriads of galaxies between frames at the
same time.
This solves the "action at a distance" problem. We do pick the univese we are
going to live in in the next millisecond by our conscious choices. We just
don't cause a multiplicity of worlds when we do it. Uncle Al says, "Stooopid"

I don't like the multiple universe idea. If they chose people to do
the experiment who had previously nearly died then they should get
less interference from other universes because they were there in less
of them.
I fancy a new idea. How about a photon causes a cascade of similar
photons but without enough energy to exist, much like you have
particles that annihilate each other in space because they do not have
enough energy to exist? And these virtual photons interfere with each
other and give you the double slit pattern. That any good?

Everytime someone posts an interesting speculation he immediately
responds "idiot" and kills the thread. Usenet is for interesting
speculations. And speculations about QM and relativity are likely to
be wrong. Why have Al jump in everytime to say IDIOT?
Also, look at Al's website, it is filled with wrong speculations, some
which even I can easily debunk.

Well it might be interesting in this newsgroup for you to quote
from Uncle Al's website a statement about physics, and then using
empirical data, debunk the same. I'll all ears (or eyes as the case
