HyperPhysics "Big Bang Expansion and the Fundamental Forces" as
keywords on the internet produces, together with HyperPhysics'
"Spontaneous Symmetry Breaking," the following chain of symmetry
breaking in time in the direction of the arrows (the arrows here
representing only time sequence), or if taken in reverse the chain of
unification of Fundamental Forces:
1) g --> s --> w --> em
where g is gravitation, s strong/color force/interaction, w weak
interaction, em electromagnetic interaction/force. The first split
occurred around 10^(-40) sec., the second around 10^(-30) sec, the
third at 10^(-10) sec. approximately. The corresponding temperatures
were 10^32K, 10^27K, 10^15K, and the corresponding energies are
considered to be 10^19 GeV, 10^14 GeV, and 100 GeV.
The proximity of g and s, or in force notation Fg and Fs, and the
proximity of w and em, or in force notation Fw and Fem, in (1), are in
the same direction as the inverse relationship between Fg and Fs, as
well as the inverse relationship between Fw and Fem, discussed in the
last few Sections of this thread. To put it another way, except for
s --> w in (1), the breaking of symmetry in (1) yielded the most
"opposite" pairs of forces, with Fg and Fem being most similar in
range while their one-arrow-adjacent "partners" Fs and Fw are tied for
the most similar in range.
If you reread the previous paragraph, not only does length (range) or
distance group Fg and Fem together, and likewise Fs and Fw together,
while Fg and Fs are opposites and Fem and Fw are opposites, but also
time groups them together, the most "time proximal" forces being the
most opposite except for s --> w (which is geometrically constrained
by the other relationships so to speak).
Why does time group Fundamental Forces into opposite groups like
this? Because (Probable) Causation occurs through time, and symmetry
breaking is an extremely strong Causation somewhat analogous to
splitting the atom. Speaking of this, it also renders more plausible
the possibility that black holes really do generate matter/energy by
tidal forces in the sense of an extremely high magnitude Causation
occuring in tidal forces.
