From Osher Doctorow

Quantum Gravity considered in relationship to the expression:
1) 1 + y - x = (1 - x) + y
would have y play the role of Effect ("from 0") and 1 - x the role of
Cause ("from infinity"). Could the pairing of gravity as an
attractive force and Dark Energy's "repulsive force" associated
quantity play the respective roles of y and 1 - x?
Let's see. The Repulsive expansion-of-the-Universe force "pushes
upward" from 0, and the attractive gravitation force "pushes downward"
from infinity (or 1 in (1)). It seems as though if the observer or a
mass is regarded as being at 0, then we have "Quantum Gravity" in this
scenario with or without the "Quantum".
It is rather odd to regard gravity as coming from infinity and
"pushing toward 0", but in a way this is what "the attraction of a
mass at 0 for another mass elsewhere" involves.
It is also rather odd to regard Dark Energy as coming from 0 and
"pushing toward infinity (or 1)", but agains this is what it does for
an observer or mass at 0.
