From Osher Doctorow

A search of arXiv yields "too many hits," for keyword "deconfinement",
producing only 300 hits (papers) in any one search. These run from
1991 through 2006.
Some fascinating papers are by A. E. Shabad of P. N. Lebedev Physical
Institute Moscow, including a paper of his with V. V. Usov of Weizmann
Institute of Science Israel, "Bethe-Salpeter approach for relativistic
positronium in a strong magnetic field," hep-th/0603070 v1 9 Mar 2006.
This later paper discusses the "falling to the center phenomenon" that
occurs because of dimensional reduction in a strong magnetic field.
Dimensional reduction means exactly what it says - dimensions reduce,
which typically involves a PDE or ODE transformation to fewer
variables. This paper is 35 pages long.
An earlier paper by Shabad is "Singular centre in quantum mechanics as
a black hole," hep-th/0208133 v1 19 Aug 2002, which studies the radial
Schrodinger equation with attractive potential that is singular in the
origin. There are two channels, and depending on the kinematics
particles asympotically free in the inner channel near the singularity
either remain confined in the center or escape to infinity (to the
outer channel).
Shabad as a keyword in arXiv in turn produces 13 papers by A. E.
Shabad, most involving black holes and magnetism. Infinity and zero
play important contrasting roles in several of his papers.

Everybody knows that Shabad is a lying weasel scumbag drunkard who turned in
his *own wife*, who really wrote all his papers, to the police state mental
institution.

asdf, who under "show options" is listed as "spaml...@spamless" typed:

Aside from the fact that "spam"-named internet sites tend to contain
people who are more scared of spam than interested in new ideas (and
who generally alternate with invalid.com sites in attacking others'
ideas than in presenting new ideas of their own), the claim that
"everybody knows" anything on sci.physics has to be looked on with a
bit of skepticism. As usual, the current commenter (asdf) largely
destroys his own arguments, since if Shabad's wife wrote all his papers
that wouldn't prove that the ideas of his papers are wrong. On top of
everything else, asdf here seems to be posing as an "anti-Russian" who
resents citing papers from Russia. That Shabad has 13 papers in arXiv
seems also to indicate that "not everybody" knows what asdf knows (if
anything!). As for citing papers from totalitarian nations, how many
nations in the U.N. are not totalitarian even if they pretend to be
"Republics"?
