When mass is displaced below ground during earthquake, sensitive
electronic weigh machine will show change in weight of object due to
disturbance in magnitude of gravitational field. And we can use this
weight reading change to trigger alarm.

As speed of gravity is instantaneous, we can hear alarm much befor
seismic waves reaches surface of earth.

If it was that easy, don't you think we'd have done this by now?

Who has tried such experiment?

Who said that it does not work?

Newton's third law is also simple. Why it went unnoticed until 1665?

The experiment is not figment of imagination. I am working on other
aspects of theory. And i am not physicist, neither have enough money to
conduct experiments.

I am just math graduate.

I second the suggestion by Aiden.

To this date, gravity waves have yet to be detected, and all we're
trying to detect is stuff like two neutron stars colliding or two
black holes colliding. Stuff that should generate copious amounts
of gravitational waves.

Let me state here that I am not proposing to detect gravitational
waves. Mechanism or speed of gravity is debatable. But existence of
gravitational force is not debatable. More mass, more gravitational
force. And we know gravitational field of gravitating body moves with
body.

What you propose is probably many tens of orders more difficult to
detect.

I am not geologist but i think tactonic plates has considerable mass
compared to that of earth. And we have technology which can measure
weight of body to thousands digits.

I am sure this system would work perfectly above, what you call,
hypocentre of earthquake where tactonic plates collides. That would
cause huge disturbance, vibrations in gravitational field and certainly
it will affect weight of body.
