Let's all hope and pray you're right about that. But so far, there
are no viable _Conservative_ Republican candidates in the running.
I'm tellin' ya, until and unless Newt Gingrich officially enters
the race, I will have to remain an Ex-Republican. I can only hope
that my fellow American Conservatives would agree with me on this
one issue: the current field of candidates are either too far to
the left, or else they're simply unelectable, no offense intended.
And if the G.O.P. continues drifting to the left, I'm outta there.
I swear, I will vote for the Liberal-Democrat, if the Republicans
don't get their collective act together. To date, they have not. :(
I believe Newt could win the 2008 Presidential election, but only
if every Non-Liberal/Non-Atheist in America shows up at the polls
to vote him into the Oval Office. I know I will vote for Gingrich,
and I pray with all of my heart that every God-fearing tax-paying
law-abiding patriotic American in America will vote for him, too.
(we already know that our friends in Isreal will vote Republican).
If any Republican-voter out there believes that we are NOT at war
against the Anti-Christian Liberal Atheists in America, then you'd
better stay home on election-day. This is *do-or-die* time, folks.
If the Anti-Christian Liberal Atheists win the 2008 election, then
I, & doubtless millions of my fellow Non-Atheists, shall be forced
to openly declare real, all-out, murderous, Civil War against them.
"Power and law are not synonymous. In truth they are
frequently in opposition and irreconcilable. There is
God's Law from which all Equitable laws of man emerge
and by which men must live if they are not to die in
oppression, chaos and despair. Divorced from God's
eternal and immutable Law, established before the
founding of the suns, man's power is evil no matter
the noble words with which it is employed or the
motives urged when enforcing it. Men of good will,
mindful therefore of the Law laid down by God, will
oppose governments whose rule is by men, and if they
wish to survive as a nation they will destroy the
government which attempts to adjudicate by the whim
of venal judges." -Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC)*
*possibly a redaction, affirmation, or paraphrase, of
what Cicero had said, as later recounted by Augustine
of Hippo, or possibly by Lactantius. Citation pending.
Whoever said it, it's perfectly, biblically, axiomatic.
I wish I could find the Latin original to translate it
more precisely. (I searched for this, but to no avail.)
Ex-Republican (i.e. until Newt throws his hat into the ring),
