Slamming a chunk into a 1 kg chunk real hard is what sets it off.
.001 kg is pushed into starting the chain.
.001 and .001 produces a ***** of a blast shot head to head.
But mixed with a bucket of concreat it would be worthless even under
impact detnation.

How come the earth doesn't explode? Very good question. In my opinion, there
just may be small level fission reactions froming at the core of the earth
keeping it hot. But by the time it reaches the surface of the earth, you can't
notice it, it's cooled down.
