You're response is civil. I don't agree with you, but
I respect your right to believe and worship however
you choose--as long as you're not breaking any laws
of the land. That's what will soon make America far
greater than it has been under the tyrannical monopoly
of Atheism in government and public schools since 1947.
Responsible freedom of religion & responsible freedom
of speech is coming soon to a theatre of intellectual
combat near you & yours... Atheism will no longer be
the ONLY de facto religion promoted and tolerated in
America's public schools. *All* beliefs are welcome...
Therefore, you too are entitled to your opinion, your
belief, your religion, just as all law-abiding citizens
are likewise entitled to their opinions, beliefs, ergo
religions. That's just part of what our now Republican-
controlled U.S. Supreme Court is going to remedy in
America's public classrooms, courtrooms, libraries,
and every public place in all 50 States of the Union
that Republicans now totally and permanently dominate.
But of course, we need to pull the blood-stained teeth
of the A.C.L.U., add the theory of 'Intelligent Design'
alongside the sacred gospel According to Charles Darwin,
end abortion, and return the Ten Commandments to public
buildings and places from sea to shining sea. And make
death penalty laws a *LOT* tougher and swifter against
dangerously-violent criminals. That's just for starters...
But Bertrand Russell?? Isn't he the guy who believed
that ancient Greek Atheists were the very first, the
very premiere, human beings in all world history and
prehistory who weren't 100% deaf, dumb and blind from
birth, and had an I.Q. slightly above room-temperature?
And also, like the (il)literalist fundamentalist Xians
and Jews devoutly believe, that civilizations didn't
exist until something significantly under six or maybe
seven short millennia ago?? You know, those "stupid"
Babylonians, Egyptians, Mayans, Atlantians, et al. They
were all just as dumb as a rock (those were very smart
rocks by the way, some weighing up to 400 tons, fitting
together as if God were the architect). Neanderthals were
smarter than they were (as a footnote, Neanderthals were
actually quite intelligent, just not as smart as humans).
Well, at least Bertrand Russell didn't believe that
the infinite and eternal Universe was created in six
solar Earth days... so Atheists aren't always out to
lunch... just most of the time. Russell and Einstein
tried to stop high-energy nuclear weapons development
and proliferation in 1955... look where that got 'em?
If not for the cold war, and America's victory over
the U.S.S.R., the U.S. of A. wouldn't be dominating the
whole free world today! Yup. I *LIKE* nuclear weapons. :-D
Enjoy!

People sometimes think there is only one flavour of liberal (what I like to
call the "fuzzy-wuzzy liberal"). Actually, there are many flavours and not
all of them are irrationalist in nature (just like some conservatives). I
would designate myself as a rationalist, classical liberal in the spirit of
Bertrand Russell and John Stuart Mill. I recognize the limits in appealing
to some grand authority or that there is a foundational set of propositions
we can all rely one, but I haven't abandoned reason or logic.

OK, So lets say we do that. Why not have the Buddhas Four Holy Truths
posted in public? The Upanishads and The Rig Veda should be taught in
schools as well along with a class on the Koran, and then another class
on Scientology.

(as a footnote, Neanderthals were

actually quite intelligent, just not as smart as humans).
1)There is little to no data on the intelligence of Neanderthals. There
are a number of ideas as to why they went extinct, most are either
about climate change and/or competition from modern humans. Competition
does not and should not imply intelligence.
2) It is quite common, wide spread in fact, to refer to Neanderthals as
human.

Well, actually, Min and his fundamentalist friends may be examples of
de-volution.

Best to keep in mind Bush is a right winger, and is selling our sea ports
out to Muslins. Reality is liberals might not be able to stop him. He
will get big money for this act of treason. He is safe from being
impeached because Chaney would end up being our president, and that can
be worse. Well here is another view If we sold the Twin Towers to the
Muslin's they might not have crashed those planes into them.
Republicans can be found very easy. Just follow the money. Bush and
Chaney go together like Exxon and Mobil Well I'm proud to say I
did not vote for that bum TreBert

Indeed, Liberals are a Republican's best friends. When they screw up
they need someone to blame.
I wish I could remember the originator of this phrase, but I thought it
was true during Reagan and now I'm quite positive it is indeed fact
under the current administration.
"Democrats invented the deficit, Republicans figured out how to use it."
