It's a known fact that simple boiling of water changes the " power
field " in water making it dangerous for human consumption.
I have to admit, you've come up with a new twist to urban legends
about microwaves.
Not all that new: One office mate of mine two decades ago insisted that
microwaved water was bad bad bad for you and would consume nothing that
had been microwaved. "Microwaves are radiation, right? And all that
radiation _stays_ in the water, then you drink it!"
Lee "He never got to the part about how water has a memory" Ayrton
He never got the part about non-ionizing and ionizing radiation either.

A naturally occurring component of water is used to make hydrogen
bombs.
And a subcomponent is responsible for being able to view porno movies
on your TV.

Yes, that Di-hydrogen Monoxide can sometimes be dangerous to humans.

I like to think of it as hydrogen hydroxide.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll all

destroys water-soluble vitamines, and I
don't drink coffee for the nutrition
anyway. :-)

Havent looked into the effects of microwaves in relation to vitamin
denaturization. However essential water-soluble vitamins (B groups etc)
consumption needs to be maintained daily to ensure a healthy diet as
they are secreted out of the body easily.
This could have a nasty impact if its true.
By the way, regular coffee has no vitamin content, unless you add milk,
in which case you could add the milk after you nuked your coffee. What?
you were joking? oh *slaps forhead*

If you look into it, you'll find that it's heating, by whatever
method, that reduces B vitamin content in foods. Microwaving lets you
cook vegetables very lightly, and without added water, so it not only
reduces vitamin loss due to cooking, but avoids leaching of vitamins
into the cooking water.
This could have a nasty impact if its true.
Good thing it isn't.
