Martinl,
Use bismuth or any of its alloys and eutectics that do not contain
cadmium or other poisonous metals. That has a very high heat of fusion

Uncle Al is an idiotic spooooook.
At the criminal agency they only taught him nitrates to sabotage and
terrorise the populations of the target countries. In Italy there are
warrants for arrest of these bastards. The work by lie and deception.
on 911 these bastards killed 3000 of their people and put the blame on
other nations. FBI cant even show a single proper and authentic video
of pentagon being hit. thats the HQ or defense. But these bastardz
have bugged every single female bathroom and newt gingrich their
leader committed adultery on BOTH of his wifes.
YOU CAN REALLY TRUST THEM A LOT !!!!
Bismuth is probably bening. If cost is not a matter you can probably
add indium also but I am not sure of toxicity of indium. I think that
gallium is fairly safe. Its given for gallium scan for testing of
cancers.
please visit my favorite website 911blogger.com and also
counterpunch.org and alsowww.nkusa.organd spread the word of the
crimes of these bastardz.

What I'm working on requires a heat sink that that will give up it
heat slowly through the operating temperature of between 50 and 100
C. I want to imbed this substance in silicone rubber and cycle it
about 2000 times.
Magnesium Nitrate Hexahydrate has the right melting point, but seems
to be to toxic and flammable to be handled.
Any other suggestions?
If you want a big /_\H(fusion) then all sorts of lattice interactions
must be in there to sop up/release the heat. Strong solid lattice
interactions vs. liquid imply large volume change. Benzil melts at 95
C but its enthalpy of fusion is only 27 cal/g. Water is 80 cal/g.

Linear long chain (~20 carbons and longer) alkanes (paraffin wax),
alcohols, and amides (higher mp) have large /_\H(fusion) from efficent
lattice packing. They substantially increase in volume when they
melt. Wax is cheap. Miscible mixtures will have weighted average
properties - more or less. Test before you venture.
Poly(ethylene oxides) also have respectable /_\H(fusion), low
toxicity, and wide range of molecular weight and properties.
For highly crystalline high MW paraffin wax, mp~73-80 C,
/_\H(fusion)~50 cal/g. That's about the best you can do on the cheap,
FDA-approved, in the temperature range. You'll get a volume change
around 15%. It has been used as a thruster for automobile radiator
valves.
You must polymerize the matrix below the mp of the co-phase. Stuff
migrates through solid silicone rubber with remarkable facility. Will
your dispersion agglomerate or surface bloom with thermal cycling?
The usual thermal ballast approach is to have flexible plastic ravioli
filled with active material - individuals, strings, sheets. Volume
change is accommodated by not filling the membrane taught with solid.
Volume packing inefficiency is balanced by small fraction of inert
matrix. Failure of one pouch does not compromise the others.
It helps if the membrane is not compromised by the melt, both as film
and at the edge seal.

APPLICATIONS OF CALCIUM ALUMINATE(used as desulphuriser, deoxidiser
and fluidiser in steel smelting.)
Calcium Aluminate is a completely pre-melted materials manufactured to
meet the specific requirement of steel makers and metalluraists.
Ladle metallurgy and ladle furnaces are a critical quality control
step between the primary melting furnace and the continuous caster.
A key feature for successful ladle metallurgy is slag control. Calcium
Aluminate is specifically designed to have the required chemical
composition and physical properties that make it easy to store and
handle.
Calcium Aluminate is produced in high-capacity furnaces by the
complete fusion of bauxite and limestone, which yields a homogeneous
product of constant composition.
Calcium Aluminate is hard, stable and nearly dust-free.
Calcium Aluminate melts readily at "steel-making" temperatures. The
slag has good sulphur retention and performs effectively as a
desulpheric slag.
Calcium Aluminate contains no fluorine compounds, thus avoiding
refractory attack and atmospheric pollution.
Calcium Aluminate is an excellent cover slag for the prevention of
gaseous pick-up from the atmosphere and is an effective fluid sink
that absorbs inclusions from steel.
Using method:
The amount should be according to practical application condition of
different steels mills. We suggest that to add 5-12KG/Ton steel. Also it
is can be added in twice:layer it on the bottom of ladle before
tapping ,second time is adding when in the ladle furnace. When the
steel are stirring by argon blowing, the synthetic slag shall be
efficiently improve the steel
Using feedback:
It is widely used in LF and VD.As the S content in steel not less than
0=2E03%,it should be low to 0.015% of S content after synthetic
slag.
