Re: re:Do Geologists care about environment? |
Johannes Kepler ?
The problem is not Greenhouse Gases, but Earth accelerated buoyancy as a
result of pushing the fires everywhere, due to complete Earth
mis-management.and Simpletons ' Husbandry.
The result is naturally accelerated rate of drift on Equatorial Sun plane
toward zone of lesser Cosmic Energy ... towards what was know already as :
Eighteen Hundred and
Froze To Death
The Infamous
"Year Without A Summer
The year 1816
Do you understand why ?
The Environmentalists are not wrong in this regards and let's face it, the
unchecked fires going on in the US, Indonesia, Europe + those going on in
Australia now ( going to burn what's left ) are a matter for concern , and
of course the perturbed weather pattern
By the way since your name is Johannes Kepler, could you please tell me WHY
the orbits of Planets in our Solar system are flattened Circles ?
You may go through Kepler 3 laws, which you know of course, and none gives
an answer to that simple question !
( Simple of course when acquainted to the True Geology and of course to the
UPL )
Would you have some clues about that answer though, because of your
name....

Geology, the science of the Earth, is concerned with understanding:
The earth's internal structure and composition, its dynamic character
(earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics), and the processes that
occur within it
-The processes that shape the surface of the Earth, and the materials
that constitute its surface layers
-The origin, occurrence, extraction and conservation of the Earth's
natural resources - minerals, fossil fuels, soils, water
-The place of the Earth within the Solar System
-The history of life on Earth.
Geology puts the human race in planetary perspective within space and
time. As our awareness of human interactions with the environment
increases, our need for better understanding of the way the earth
works becomes more urgent.
Increasingly, a grounding in Geology is seen as essential for those
concerned with care of the environment and assessment of natural
hazards, as well as for those involved with utilising Earth's
resources. Solutions to problems of pollution and waste disposal, to
major civil engineering problems such as those encountered at dam
sites, and to the effects of global change arising from human impact
on the environment, must all be sought in the framework of geology.

Only somebody not very well acquainted with Newton's theory of

Turcaud, can you explain why comets move in elongated elliptical orbits?

Yes I can, brother, but before that you will have to give me the whole
machining process of a single Silicate Rounded Pebbles !
Just pick one, anyone out of the Quinquillions around and come back with
some Engineer-like intelligent then answer.
See you soon !

That's a silly request. Scientific discussions are not usually series of
exchanges of scientific "secrets." Anyway, there aren't single silicate
pebbles; they happen in large quantities. When rocks bounce around in
streams, more-convex features receive greater force of impact from other
rocks than flatter ones. So points are worn down and flat spots remain.
It's not a difficult concept; I'm not sure why you're so obsessed with
it. I hope I've helped figure it out for you.
So. About those cometary orbits...

Unfortunately Timberwood, your answers are completely ludicrous and
certainly not of the level I was expecting !
Further, I am keeping indeed quite a few secrets, but this is out of
respect for a lifetime work of independent research establishing the True
Geology .... and I am not going to give it away freely since it would then
be throwing pearls to the hogs ! Agree ?
Remember, unlike the other ANU Geology Lecturers and Professors , I am on
pay leave and working on my own time & money indeed, therefore not having
accounts to give back or reports to make to the Dean... . as well as to the
ACT Board of Education. The counterpart is that I am a free thinker, and as
a result I have developed the most precise, intelligent and synthetic
approach to understanding both our Universe and Mankind History !
As I have set before, we have to start considering those large quantities
( exact ) of rounded pebbles, and we are going to be interested in ONE
SINGLE ONE ( anyone) starting right from the matrix where it was at first !
If we start with ONE Andesite say pebble 20cm across , it is originally
located within its matrix say 500m down and in some way in final approach,
it landed on the Snowy Mountains plateaux around Island Bend for example
I want from you ONLY that complete Industrial process from the matrix to
the landing of that pebble at 1000 m of altitude ! Not the one before ! That
is clearly the easiest part of it !
Got it ?
Just to help you along, I am giving you the 2 first steps as I gave to the
others
1) Rupture of the matrix ( original rock formation in that case )
2) Crushing
3) ... You have the hand now, Timberwoof.
Go on !
By the way your understanding of fluid dynamic and fluid mechanics is at
fault, to the point of being completely fraudulent
Quote
When rocks bounce around in
streams, more-convex features receive greater force of impact from other
rocks than flatter ones. So points are worn down and flat spots remain
Unquote
I don't want you to quote me any official and ridiculous theories, but I
want you to think by yourself. Remember we are starting from the Matrix.
Also you must know that rivers, torrents or surf does not achieve any of the
result we have at hand as terminal manufactured product ( that rounded
pebble )
You cannot indeed use a ice cube to drill into a rock, Okay ! So likewise,
please do not speak Gogology nonsense anymore to me.
It will work that way, Timberwoof, you go along the cursus I want you to go
through , that is to get the pre-requisites, and I will teach you the True
Geology !
No jumping ahead, no fancy short cut , no funny hypothesis ... you are just
in the workshop and that workshop is the Earth !
For the first time in your life you are going to think and work as a
Tradesman ... just the way a True Geologist reasons and works.
With best regards

You read like one of those religious tracts someone once slipped under
my door in college. The first part was about archaeologists barfing all
over Egyptian bas-releifs of men engaging in homosexual activities and
covering up the discovery because they didn't want everyone else barfing
when they discover that Egyptians were all doing that thing that makes
Jesus puke. The second part was all about how, even though they make Him
puke, Jesus loves homosexuals. Which sounded rather perverted to me, but
since I'm a reasonable guy, I simply thought YKINMK[1] and kind of
laughed at the book.
Okay, so I don't know how rounded pebbles are formed at the level of
detail tha you want described, and you're not willing to tell us either.
I suppose that means you're not going to explain why, if the Law of
Universal Pressure makes planetary orbits nearly circular, the orbits of
comets are highly elliptical.
By the way, I'm not a fraud. I never presented myself as any sort of
authority. When someone who knows what he's talking about corrects me, I
learn and thank him. That's not fraudulent.
You, however, don't know the first thing of what you're talking about. I
think that since you try to pass yourself off as a researcher and a
professor, yet don't understand anything about commonly accepted methods
of science, you are a fraud.
So if a fraud calls me a fraud, should I give a rat's *****?
