247 new posts to sci.physics this morning. Seven were worth reading.
sci.chem is similarly sterile.
Uncle Al logged on in 1995. 79,300 posts since then. The intervening
decade has witnessed a tragedy of the commons. sci.physics has deeply
fallen over the line of Sturgeon's Law. Gresham's law rules to its
odious inevitable destination. Unmoderated Usenet is a river of *****.
In order to maintain an untenable position one must be actively

adequate.
Screw it. Let the world save itself. I've got better things to do
with my resources. The parity Eotvos experiment will be replayed
calormetrically, by a chemical group, under written agreement.
Physics groups are still talking and saying nothing. Let their wind
blow - my people will do it. Read about the results, either way,
after they are published.

I had rather wondered about that.

The parity Eotvos experiment will be replayed
calormetrically, by a chemical group, under written agreement.

1) Any 1st year law student would tell you that written agreements
mean nothing by themselves. Enforcability demands much more than a
well written agreement even where there is an initial meeting of the
minds.
2) Do you have access to previously qualified test equipment or are
you rolling your own?
3) Why do you think it remains a "parity Eotvos experiment"?

Physics groups are still talking and saying nothing. Let their wind
blow - my people will do it.

PRC people were "my people" earlier, no?

Read about the results, either way, after they are published.

Bitterness is a harsh taskmaster. Are you sure you're up to it?
Are any of your groupies leaving with you or do you fear you need
some sort of rear guard? (I guess this is how we find out. LOL)
Regardless, good luck in actually achieving *some* sort of results,
*any* sort of results. If you do, no matter what they are, I'm
sure we'll hear about them from you.

I thought just plain lead would do more good where christians are

ahahaha... Zenner, you are asking Mikey questions that seem to
aggravate his core and embarrass him deeply.....as can be seen
in the even more embarrassing retorts that Mikey just delivered...
Mikey, listen, did something more than scientific colleaguery develop
between you and Al at that APS meeting? You couldn't be the
reason for Al's divorce announcement, or could you now?... wow!
Mikey, remember, Yehiel Porat alluded to this ever since then and
began to open his posts to you with "Hi homo".... ahahaha....

[Varney]

The fucking cops are everywhere smelling for some *****! FOAD!

[hanson]
Wow, Mikey, did the cops catch you with your pants down when you
were taking a dump in & stinking up a public place that was not
designated for your urgent activity? But, don't tell'em to FAOD...
Just tell them that you have diarrhea nervosa ever since Al left.
Thanks for the laughs guys..... AHAHAHA... ahahaha...
ahaha.. ahahanson

..... AHAHAHA... yeah, don't you remember, how we had Mikey
going when he came along in the cloaks of/as "Mu-pi", then loaded
as "weed is good.org" only to nym-shift into "nunyabiz.." and a few
others... The ensuing assertion/denial games were **hilarious.**
ahahaha... Let's milk it again to the hilt if Mikey is going to swallow
the hook again this time.... ahahaha...
PS:
I had some recent notions along your wall-to-wall particle/particle
insinuations. I asked myself why is it that in a discrete and self-similar
universe particles (large and small) do come predominantly in
certain preferred sizes? -- Since physics is primarily an activity of
measuring = **comparing** things and stuff with each other against
humankind's artificial and arbitrarily chosen standards, some very
interesting precipitates emerged. When I see it clearly & if the
numbers fit I may post it to your website... perhaps even here...
But, don't hold your breath... I am here for fun! ..... ahahaha....
Take care, dude

PS2: Hey, Mikey!... you have been warned... AHAHAHA.....

Any chance of posting a URL for this? I tried searching on
"Mike Varney" physics home blog etc etc, but couldn't find
anything.

[hanson]
Thanks for asking, John. My answer to you is above in following [1]....
.... & in the remote case that I find something that **really** moves
me then I may publish it rather then url it. Meanwhile enjoy this:
http://groups.google.com/group/sci.physics/msg/0f1a7daa49aa8cf3
since this post contains the background of what I referred to above.
BTW, by "your website", above, I was referring to Louis Savain url
http://www.rebelscience.org/Crackpots/notorious.htm
and not to Mikey. Mikey was doing different work.

Al Zenner already gave you http://rintintin.colorado.edu/~varney/
and here is some interesting stuff that Varney was working on

This still works.

One might guess that he's trying to keep a lower profile these days.
