I am pleased to see that eight low-self-esteem sociopaths,
and two dupes, namely
Art Deco, Meat Plow, Kadaitcha Man, Puddleduck, Cujo DeSockpuppet

I suggest that to appreciate the significance of this award,
that rational, intelligent, honest, moral folks
should visit my web sites and BLOGs which are listed below,
and to do a Google search on the names of the people
who honored me with this award
and contrast what they are,
with what I am.
The problem is that about ten low self-esteem sociopaths
have taken over a newsgroup called alt.usenet.kooks
and each month they spam scores of Internet Newsgroups
with hundreds of posts, trying to instigate conflict.
They then nominate victims, usually the folks
who most oppose their intrusion into their newsgroup,
for the twenty or so dubious awards that they promote, such as:

and they drag in a few debate losers to join with them,
such as Eric Gisse and T Wake of sci.physics in the list above.
They then spam scores of other newsgroups some more,
trying to round a few more votes (And victims for the next month.).
Note that the number of sociopaths and dupes that
vote for these awards is about forty total,
and some of the sociopaths operate under two or more names.
I hated to list Gisse and T Wake in with the sociopaths,
as they are sincerely interested in science,
but were duped by the sociopaths to participate
in their dishonest, antisocial game,
but I mentioned them in order to send a message
to other possible dupes, that
your favorite newsgroup should be more important to you,
than demeaning your opponents in your newsgroup.
I suggest that some method must be found
to prevent a few low self-esteem sociopaths
from trashing the Internet Newsgroups
and turning them in battle zones,
filled with scum, vulgarity, insults, and noise.
Of course, it is possible for one to waste time
identifying the sociopaths, and adding them and
the newsgroups they pollute to one's kill file,
but new users of the Internet fall into their trap,
as well as experienced users who get careless.
It appears that the rational, intelligent, moral
users of the Internet will have to wait until Microsoft
or some other browser provider comes out with a browser
that prevents users from posting to any newsgroup
other than the ones they prefer their posts be displayed in.
As the old sayings go
"The cream rises to the top.",
and
"The scum rises to the top."
so until Microsoft fixes the problem,
folks will have to put up with scum in their cream.

The definition of "bigot" is:

As can be seen from their posts, a small group of bigots headed by
"Art Deco", "Kadaitcha Man", "Cujo DeSockpuppet", "Puddleduck", and "Meat
Plow",
try to control the agendas in key newsgroups by targeting posters in those
newsgroups
attacking them personally and voting them "kook" awards such as:
Kook of the Month
Looney Maroon Award
Joseph Bartlo Pathetic Anal Pineapple Award
Palmjob Paddle
Tony Sidaway Drama Queen Award
Victor von Frankenstein Weird Science Award
These bigots spam the newsgrousp with thousands of inane, often vulgar,
posts
smearing their targets, and trying to entice three or four dupes and debate
losers,
to join with them and vote their victim the award.
Whether their victim gets 1 vote or 20 votes,
(And the bigots rarely manage to get more than 2 or 3 dupes to join them
and vote for one of their victims.) they rejoice in their victory,
and spam the victim's newsgroup calling attention to their victory.
The net result is that these bigots
instigate numerous flame wars in the newsgroups,
add noise, waste human and net resources,
and divert attention away from contrary opinions on subjects
that the bigots embrace.
As can be seen, this tiny gang of anonymous bigots
capitalizes on the fact that most folks avoid conflict,
in order to try to suppress opinions they want to suppress.
The question is, what can be done to keep a few anonymous bigots
from controlling the agendas in the newsgroups,
and from destroying civility and free speech on the Internet?
As rats, roaches, criminals, sociopaths, bigots, and other vermin
fear exposure and tend to fade away when exposed to light,
here's what could be done to prevent the bigots
from turning your newsgroup into a sewer.
1. Obtain and post their real names, addresses and employers on the
Internet.
2. Obtain and post their pictures and other personal data on the Internet.
3. Report them to their ISP and to Google
4. Sue them in local Small Claims courts
5. Report them to law enforcement when they commit crimes such as forging
users names, etc.
