Greetings,
I am about to finish my master's in materials science & I have a BS in
engineering physics. I am wondering if anyone can advise me on salary
expectations for a supercomputer system administrator and programmer.
Essentially, I admin a Cray XD1, a 42 node diskless cluster that I
built as an undergraduate, and some various Gentoo Linux
workstations. In general, I work on first principles materials
simulations, neural networks, and general physical modeling.
Since the work is concentrated in physical science, I was hoping that
someone in this group could give me some information.
