Science was Einstein's Religion. |
Hi All, Einstein believed _True_ theorists are Sober_Minded metaphysicists,
saying:
Every _True_ theorist is a kind of tamed metaphysicist,
no matter how pure a positivist he may fancy himself.
[ ... He believes in ]
a conceptual system built on premises of great simplicity.
He also believed randomness was _Always_
a failure to measure some intrinsic causality. For example, he once said:
The scientist is possessed by the sense of universal causation.
The future, to him, is every whit as necessary and determined as the past.
__ See Albert Einstein's The_World_As_I_See_It
StephenJayGould.ORG/ctrl/einstein_religion.html
Consequently, he felt physical processes determined absolutely everything,
including man's desires. See WikiPedia.ORG/wiki/Physicalism
For example, he once said:
I do not believe in freedom of the will. Schopenhauer's words:
“ Man can do what he wants, but he cannot will what he wills ”
accompany me in all situations throughout my life
and reconcile me with the actions of others
even if they are rather painful to me.
This awareness of the lack of freedom of will
preserves me from taking too seriously myself and my fellow men
as acting and deciding individuals and from losing my temper."
__ From a speech by Albert Einstein to the German League of Human Rights,
Berlin, in the autumn of 1932, See: EinsteinAndReligion.COM/credo.html
Driven by such a faith,
Eistein became a master at finding once hidden causalities.
For example, his General Relativity explained exactly how
a clock with 10 ^ -16 second accuracy ticks faster
with a minute increase in altitude... long before it was empirically proven.

Hi T.J., You told me:
Ethen would be money ahead running yachts to Venezuela for fill-ups.
All he thinks about is how quickly he can get his next hit,
and how much more enjoyable stealing is compared to menial labor.
He got about 10 thousand dollars once from an insurance settlement,
but chose to remain homeless... buying mainly drugs with it.
You added:

I don't have any problem meeting _Hot_ girls,
there are literally crowds of them walking around campus... friendly as hell.
I see every other kind of woman around here too... as nice as hell.
For whatever reason... travel, women and money just don't interest me.
All I need is a bit of privacy and a broadband connection.
So many people are homeless these days,
that it might actually be _Fun_ to join them.
Thanks to numerous labs on campus, homeless or not,
I have access to powerful computers with ultra-fast connecections.
Anytime I needed some tobacco money I could just offer to tutor someone.
Although tutoring is _Painful_ and _Boring_ at first,
I feel good afterwards, knowing that they couldn't do it without me.
Perhaps you feel the same way when you tutor me.

Hi T.J., Anne wants to be paid before the shipping date.
So I told her the following... is there more I should tell here ?
<an...@eastrans.com.cn>
An agreement with the United States Import/Export bank, ExIm.GOV.
Hi Anne, You told me:
For the payment, We can't accept after the goods load into the boad.
Normally, we need to receive the money before the shipping date.
Wouldn't an agreement with the United States Import/Export bank, ExIm.GOV,
enforced and insured by them, suffice ? I'll see what more I can do.

No. You ask me this repeatedly. If you dont want to bother yourself with
remembering the answer why ask the question?
I spend time in this newsgroup when I have spare time to kill.
What is your reason for the rambling posts about your life here? Dont you
know how to make a blog?
Can't edit what you read and write ? Are you _Forced_ to read only crap ?
Well, there is a difference between us.
You have the urge to edit what other people write to make youself happier. I
read what other people write.
When I read your posts, it is generally only crap and I did (naively I
assume) think it was possible to help you change that. Should I just edit
all your posts so they are no longer crap?

Hi T.J., Re: SpotMetals.COM/ss/09163ori.htm
It didn't say if the price was in dollars or pounds sterling.
Market price is $ 2.10 a pound plus some for shipping.
If it's $ 1.45 per pound of Copper Ingots 99.93 Cu,
that's a good deal, even if it is only 2 thousand metric tonnes.
I emailed him this:
FOB price for Copper Ingots ?
Hi Moray Contracting,
I saw your offer at SpotMetals.COM/ss/09163ori.htm
to sell 2 thousand metric tonnes of Copper Ingots 99.93 Cu.
I'd like to have 20 to 50 thousand metric tonnes, if you have it.
What's the most you can supply me ? What's your FOB price ?
The U.S. Export/Import bank, ExIm.GOV, will pay you cash at your dock.
Thanks,

Hi T_Wake,
Re: Why Hinton's price at SpotMetals.COM/ss/09163ori.htm was so low,
I emailed him in London, and he gave me a price of USD 3,920 per MT,
not the earlier 3,200 price. And he offered me only 300 MT per month,
not the one-time sale of 2,000 MT he mentioned earlier.
The price is climbing even as the availability continues to shrink.
He wasn't in the mood to haggle either.
Hence, T.J. needs my help to fill his empty boats/warehouses.
People are obviously holding onto their metal,
knowing that it'll only go up in value with time... better than cash.
If I actually knew T.J.'s face, name and phone number
I _Might_ be able to help him fill his empty boats/warehouses... maybe.
But, as it is, I likely won't see a dime... so don't hold your breath.
Like most rich people, T.J. doesn't just hand out cash.
My nephew runs a carwash which hires a lot of illegal aliens;

our reef island chain is not shown .
its where it says its not shown !
Im thinking still about putting a runway so we can land big jet toys .
On stilts 5000 x 200 foot deck.
if it cost 1/2 bil I might do it.
cuz this aia dont land nothing and ships avoid the aria unless they
know it well ..a cruise line woulnt risk getting here .
Its a maze of reefs and islands a few acres each . A rainforest with
emrald waters and snow white beaches .
300 some islands a few acres each spred out on a 10 mile reef with a
population of 32 .
a boat ride to tonga

It's a maze of reefs and islands a few acres each.
A rainforest, with emerald waters and snow white beaches.
300-some islands, a few acres each, spread out on a 10 mile reef,
with a population of 32. A boat ride to tonga.
Here's a more detailed map:

But, if I were to travel, Alaska would be my first choice.
I love it's tall mountains, watching over the inside passage.
