Object: Sciphobia (science phobia)
There are two kinds of people who suffer from sciphobia.
(1) persons who has gone through near death, painful experience due to
reasons connected to science.
(2) persons who has grown up reading religious books which teach that
faith is supreme.
These people are scared to science to such extent that they don't want
to know anything about it.
There is no cure, medicine for this desease.

I actually know of a third kind of sciphobics, namely, those who cannot
accept the work or results of science because of their political or
ideological prejudices, e, g. the prejudice that all races are equal in
mean IQ, that men and women are psychologically identical, that
official History must not be critically revised, etc.
Liberal ideals can induce to prejudice quite the same as religions can.
But there seems to be a prejudice against this obvious truth...

There seems to be no cure for that disease either. Look at Asshat,
Hammond, and the Pope.

No. Do you?

Are you so out of touch with reality that you imply that *I* make up
*your* *****?
For that is exactly what you have just done.

Nonsense. I did (not even near death - I was clinically dead) and I
don't (suffer from it).

I'm only phobic when science groupies assume that science - which is a
methodology, something else they often forget - is the only way to gain
knowledge.

I have an alternate theory, dumbass.
Humans are creatures of habit.
The younger people are, the more likely they are to accept new things,
and vice versa.
My father-in law is not religious or offended by science.
He is just comfortable where he is.
This is the way it is. Predjudice is engrained in our genetics - get
used to it.
