Object: second class constraints and quantization
Hi,
I have a question. If we have two first class constraints Q1=Q2=0 then
we can covariantly quantize the system and impose the constraints on
the wavefunction
[Q1,Q2]=r^i Q_i, [H,Q_i]=h^i Q_i
id/dt psi = H psi
Q_i psi = 0
If though we have two second class constraints Q1=Q2=0
[Q1,Q2]=L
detL<>0
and say they are preserved [H,Q_i]=0
how would we covariantly quantize the system?
eg [Q1,Q2]psi=L psi <> 0
George
.
