a theory of strong forces - but gravity is stronger than Newton's by
10^40 on scale of 10^-13 cm (e.g. Abdus Salam's f-gravity) string ~

n = number of extra space dimensions

for universal Regge slope of hadronic resonances

time travel to the past, future and elsewhere in this world and in the
other worlds of Super Cosmos seems to demand the kind of dynamical
torsion field suggested by the controversial Russian physicist Gennady
Shipov. Einstein's 1915 General Relativity comes from two things:
1. The local gauging of the rigid global 4-parameter Translation Group
T4 to the flexible local General Coordinate Transformation Group Diff(4).
I mean "subspace" as in "Star Trek".

"Substratum" = pre-inflation massless conformal flat unstable "false
vacuum" where

Goldstone phase Theta of a charge neutral vacuum Higgs condensate phi.
This holds for all internal "charges" U(1)xSU(2)xSU(3). This vacuum
cohering of all the random ZPFs of ALL quantum fields has the form

Gravity is a macro-quantum "More is different" emergence from the
special relativistic quantum substratum. Therefore, gravity should not
be naively quantized top --> down.
All the physics is in the anholonomic non-integral "phase singularities"
(branch cuts for phase jumps 2pN, N = 0, +-1, +-2 ....) of quantized
nonlocal Bohm-Aharonov "flux without flux", e.g. Abrikosov's Nobel Prize
Lecture on the quantized magnetic vortex lattice in a Type II
superconductor. These branch cuts are in physical space for the local
single-valued order parameter and correspond to non-trivial cohomology
in the multiply-connected vacuum manifold G/H where H is the normal
subgroup of residual unbroken vacuum symmetries. The dynamical global
action A is invariant under G, but the vacuum (or ground state) is only
invariant under H.
"Flux without flux" here means, that in effect dB =/= 0 when the
measurements are confined to non-bounding cycles in the deRham integrals
for the observables of the theory.
Einstein's 1915 Geometrodynamic Field is BI-LINEAR in the tetrad field
e(x). In a LIF basis for B:

As shown by Rovelli in "Quantum Gravity" Ch 2, 1u^I is the Kronecker
delta 4x4 identity matrix.
The Bianchi identities on the 4th rank tidal geodesic deviation
curvature tensor imply
Guv^;v = 0
Where ;v is the covariant partial derivative with respect to the ZERO
torsion Levi-Civita connection of 1915 GR.
However, metric engineering requires a VIOLATION OF THE ZERO TORSION
Bianchi identities in which

Note that, Sean Carroll makes an error in his new book here. This
equation is covariant relative to the the ;u, but it does violate the
Bianchi identity.
That is
Guv,^;v = - /\zpf^,vguv =/= 0
Note that the Levi-Civita covariant derivative of the scalar /\zpf is
the ordinary partial derivative.
Shipov's torsion field S comes directly from locally gauging the Lorentz
group SO(1,3) as shown by both Utiyama and Kibble independently in the
1960's!
Therefore, there is a new local gauge potential S in addition to B
e = 1 + B + S
B from T4 --> Diff(4)
S from SO(1,3) --> ?
technically the torsion 2-form is
Torsion = de + w/\e =/= S (which is a 1-form in subspace)
where w is the spin-connection
the curvature 2-form is
R = dw + w/\w
The spin connection is no longer determined completely by B.
Obviously, the Bianchi identity is violated by terms ~ S, SB & S^2.
Those terms will determine /\^zpf^,v, which is zero in the FRW cosmology
model of dark energy.
