Here are some suggested remedies for statistics short-changing quantum
theory or quantum theorists/experimenters.
A. Drop Nonlocal theorists/experimenters like hotcakes.
B. Drop people obsessed with
Aggregates/Means/Averages/Expectations/Pluralities mostly rather than
Individuals or Individual results either predominantly or equally.
This would arguably drop most quantum theorists/experimenters.
C. Drop polls in Academia and politics period.
D. Send back all "practitioners" in physics and mathematics and
engineering to either a special 2-4 year school in mathematical
probability-statistics set up by corporation/government or to a top
existing school (Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Chicago, U. Texas
Austin, U. Florida Gainesville, and as a last resort CalTech or MIT),
with a provision that the "practitioners" must do research into
Individual rather than aggregated probability-statistics.
E. Study Large Deviations, small samples, Probable Influence,
Individual Forecasting, stochastic (probabilistic) differential
equation, Non-Markov processes, statistical dependence, statistical
inequalities/majorization/orderings.

Here are some more suggested remedies:
F. Stop funding 2-year Colleges including Junior and Community Colleges
and also all "Teaching Colleges" (often State Colleges, at least in
California) where the teacher is not mostly promoted for research but
for teaching, since what's need is researchers into Individual
Probability-Statistics rather than parrots regurgitating past results
or adhering to bureaucratic departmental teaching methods.
G. Eliminate Seniority and Tenure at the College and Pre-College
teaching/research/Administration levels so that the quality rather
than quantity or seniority/age/conformity of research publications
becomes emphasized. There's no reason for teachers/professors to have
more tenure than aircraft engineers or aircraft mechanics or automobile
engineers/mechanics. If necessary, put the whole system under Martial
Law (if nobody else is willing to decide who gets rehired) with the
above instructions.
H. Drop teachers/professors both on and off the internet who regularly
call people with different opinions or even less informed people
"idiots," "uneducable idiots," etc. If such people can't keep their
mouths shut or can't calmly and courteously reply (even to most
insults!) rather than insult somebody else in such a way, they belong
in Islamist Terrorist networks, not our colleges.

Here are some more suggestions:
I. Make causation/causality or probable causation/causality central in
all physics, mathematics, and engineering courses - and actually in all
other courses.
J. Require a course in the difference between causation and
correlation.
K. Require a course in Creative Genius including the histories of past
Creative Geniuses in math, physics, classical and romantic music, folk
and rock and roll and jazz and Country music, classical art, classical
literature including Shakespeare.
L. Require courses in psychology and psychiatry.
M. Require a course in Ethics including tolerance for courteously
expressed Nonconformist viewpoints every semester or quarter.
N. Require two courses in Interdisciplinary Scientific Research.
O. Require participation in internet forums/discussion groups related
to the major field..
